STAR WARS EPISODE TWO FIGURES COMING THIS X-MAS...

Indeedy all you Sithheads.

TOYS R US will be getting exclusive first dibs of the initial assortment of figures from Star Wars Episode Two.

Coming this fall for the Christmas buying season, the figures will consist of characters the public already knows such as Obi-Wan, Padme, and our hapless hero Anakin himself.

The regular release featuring the remaining figures will hit in early May of 2002 in time for the movies release...

UPDATE!

The Toys R Us SKN # for the figures is 127623 and the assortment with contain only 4 figures, not the usual eight found in cases...

4-Lom was in the last assortment of 12" figures, just released about 3 months ago.

Dear sweet LORD, how did I let this slip by me??!!! Man, I gots me some shoppin' to do. Couple questions, tho:

1)Was that a Target exclusive, general release, what?

2)Is there an IG-88 12-incher out there anywhere?

This was a general release. There was also and IG-88 and Bossk in the same wave. Check your local TRU's, because I think they got most of what's left. Most Targets have already clearanced them out.
