Who is driving? Oh my god, bear is driving! How can that be?!

I actually posted this originally in toys, but I figured it would probably get more notice in the main thread. If you close this one, STARCHAMBER, atleast leave a link to the other thread please. thanks.

The Clerks INACTION figures come out today. What is supposed to be the first in a long line of figures featuring characters from all the View Askew Universe. Up first is Dante, Randal, Jay, and Silent Bob. They don't talk, they are unposeable, and they don't have any accesories, but they are damn cool looking. So, here is a board to discuss these new goodies, and maybe discuss who you want to see in the future. This summer it is said that Mallrats INACTION figures will come out featuring animated versions of Brody, Willem, and rather than TS or Svenning or Rene or Trish the Dish they are putting in another Jay and Silent Bob (I'm guessing in their Mallrats atire.) I'll assume future lines will bring Holden, Banky, and if they go along with the current trend another set of Jay and Bob probably in Bluntman and Chronic attire.

I know, man. My wallet is taking a serious hit this week. Futurama and Who Framed Roger Rabbit DVDs yesterday. Now Clerk Figures today, and the new Zelda game, and my regular large stack of comics. I'm gonna have to start turning tricks or something. these little mofos are 9.50 a piece.

AHHHHHH!!!!!! This fucking sucks. Fucking comic book guy. Fucking son of a bitch. I'm sure these came out today, but the comic book guy said he didn't have them. I said you know I ordered them right? and he said "I don't think I ordered any" WHAT!?????? I gotta get these by next week. Atleast the Silent Bob one. I'm gonna get Kevin to sign it maybe when I see him at the Arclight. Or maybe I'll have him sign a dvd or a comic or something. DAMN YOU COMIC BOOK GUY!!!!

In reference to the title, I believe this is what it's referring to:

You catch on fast man. Well I wont have these for a couple weeks now. Damn comic book guy didn't order them like I asked him too. He has to get them from another store. The Mallrats Series has Brodie, Willem, Steve Dave, Fanboy, Jay, and Silent Bob (I guess an animated TS just wouldn't be funny, or Jeremy London thinks he is to big of a star to let them use his likeness.... hahahahahhaahahahahaha)
The one I really want is Brandi Svenning. And maybe Renee.
Holy crap. There's a mallrats series too? Does anyone have pictures?
I don't think they're out there, since this is based on TAS. However, the things I would do with a Forlani 'action' figure ....

They haven't released the pictures yet, but they are supposed to be out this summer so I assume early solicitation will be out in a month or so. It'll be cool if since they doing animated version of all these characters, that maybe when they have the clerks animater movie all these characters will make cameos.
These are very cool and I would love to collect the entire set, but at almost 10 bucks a pop, they're a little steep.

Are they filled with candy or something? Why so much Kevin? We're not all rich fanboys!

Still haven't gotten these bastards. DAMN YOU COMIC BOOK GUY! I thought it was pretty funny that suggested retail price on these is $9.37. 37!!!!! In a row? Yeah for toys that don't do anything these are pretty pricy. Not as pricy as a fucking 50 DOLLAR Super friends: Superman and Lex Luthor Deluxe Action Figure Set. But much cooler.

Yeah, I think I'll be having some strong words with my Comic Book Store Guy. I'm supposed to have a discount and he's fucking over charging me for shit I don't even think I ordered.

Actually, there are pictures of the mallrats figures.

Well, Kevin's got a tough decision for you all to make. There's 7 figures prototyped for Mallrats, yet only FOUR of them can make it into Series 1. Rest assured, the remaining 3 (and a mystery fourth) will show up again in Rats Series 2, but that's a year or so away. So the question is, which four do you want...NOW!???!

Your choices: Brodie, Jay, Rene, Silent Bob, Walt, Steve-Dave, and Willam. We gotta admit, we haven't been able to decide ourselves, though considering Clerks already has a Jay & Bob, we may put them at the bottom of the list...Then again that Batman Bob is just too cool for words...And Rene would be the first female inaction figure on the block, so she should go through. And we KNOW that Walt & Bryan would be thrilled to see inaction likenesses of themselves mass-produced, so it's tough not to put them through. Wow, this is a tough one.

Thanks to Toyfare for the story and the opportunity to vote! Vote carefully, as you, dear readers, now have your chance to shape the View Askew future...ever so slightly. Choose wisely. Steve-Dave is SO mine!
I put down Brodie (who should be a given, seeing as he's the main character), Willem, Walt, and Steve-Dave as my top four. I'm hoping the mystery figure is a naked Michael Rooker.
I nearly wet myself laughing thinking about that

It would be terrible if they had another Jay and Silent Bob figure for every movie set of these things. What the hell is up with the Samurai Bob anyway? He was never a Samurai in Mallrats.
He's not a Samurai, fuckwit, he's Batman.

Are you fucking blind? Go look at Quartermain's post. That is not a Batman get up. That's not the helmet with with the bat ears and the goggles like Bob wears in Mallrats. It's a fucking samuraii hat thing and he's going into some weird fighting pose with bugged out eyes. If that was a Batman Silent Bob it is terrible and they should melt the prototype.
You have actually SEEN Mallrats, right?
I've got no problem with it. After all, they're not forcing me to buy them.

And that's so Bat-Bob it's not even funny.

Oh wait. You can see little cut outs of the other ones in back. Guess they haven't made the prototypes yet. But I can make out Metatron and possibly God doing a handstand.
And looking at the reflection in the bottom of the case, the Metatron has his pants down.

A nut-less Alan Rickman. Oh that baby is soooo mine when it comes out.
Strangely enough, the local comic stores that carried the action figures have never heard of these.
Methinks there was a falling out with the distributors.
Methinks I'll have to order online.
Well, Bedrock carries EVERYTHING...and they had the action figures, before, stuffed in with the Star Wars and Spawn and Futurama figures...one whole wall of this kind of thing. A long wall.
My point was they hadn't even HEARD of the inaction figures. Bizarre marketing on the big G's part.

So, if Dogma figures are the next figures coming out after the Mallrats figures, does that mean there wont be Chasing Amy figures?
Not necessarily, although I do think that Chasing Amy isn't the best movie to use for action figures.
I just cannot justify buying one of these whenever I see it (plus, I can't find Banky, Randall, or Dante). $9.99 is way too much when I can get sweet McFarlane or Muppet figures.
Though I am definately picking up the Jay figure with "Angel Be-Good Special", for sure.
Bah! I meant Brodie.
fucking sweet, there's an exclusive Brodie w/ Dixie Cup figure for sale on View Askew's site:

Haha, that's fucking awesome. They should sell it with a car and anime Dante and Randall.

All I want from the cartoon line is Charles Barkley, Judge Reinhold, Axl Foley (with bananas), and George Lucas.
Have any luck finding Rene? I got one today for $10 at Suncoast

First one I'd seen there, I had to pick it up.

Personally I want Dante The biggest Idiot ever (Dante in Randal's mind like in the court episode) and Can't Dress Himself Randal (When Randal convinces Dante that he could run the Quick Stop and then you see that his clothes are all messed up and backwards and he has not pants.)
I they make Dante the biggest Idiot ever, he has to be posed sitting down with a diaper on and his arm posed with a cat in his hand so it looks like he's swinging it.

Chrissy, Missy, Sissy and Justice are on there way

Anyone have any idea when the Dogma series is due?? I thought they were due in April!!!
Cockknocker was the only good part about Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, IMO.

"Why do they call you cock knocker?"
"Because I knock COCKS!"

That, and the hilarious cameos by James Van Der Beek and Pie-fucker.
Did you get them straight from the 'skew???

Gonna pop down my local today and find out what has happened to the ones I ordered!!!
Prob take longer to reach England.....nevermind sure they are worth they wait.

Whats next for series 4????

Are they gonna go with Chrissy, Missy, Sissy and Justice as its all gone quiet on that front???

We need a black rage Hooper X from Chasing Amy along with a two pack of the kid and Banky at the train station wth a voice chip saying "and then the horse decided do some mounting of its own..." classic.
Hey Whitey!!!

You are gonna wet yourself when you see these
