Package's soundtrack for "Splat's" film.

As if we're not in your face enough, we'll be starting work on the soundtrack for Bill "Splat" Johnson's (the man who did the FX for 'The Patriot', 'Eight Legged Freaks', and 'Hoodlum') b&w indie horror flick Don't Worry, it's Only Your Imagination, which featured myself and Carl doing lots of behind the scenes stuff and featuring a quick cameo by Micah and I.

Package is doing the soundtrack, which will be all instrumental and unlike any of our other stuff.

The CD will also be available from MP3.com and I'll debut tracks from it up here as I would any other one.

Stay tuned.

Since it's for a professional thing, are you going to be doing real studio stuff?

We shot the film at his parent's house and it's been edited on his PC in his basement.

We're fine they way we are.

Not to get off topic, but whatever happened to the CHUD "mascot" Johnson was suppossed to create?

"The Chewer" is coming along well. I've seen him and he's still far from done but cool as hell. Splat's dad was VERY sick for a long time and just now is he home. In addition, he's trying to get his film finished.

I got my videotape today of about 35 minutes of it and it's coming along well.

Hopefully Package can help with the presentation.

I think you mean Micah and me.

Micah and I is proper grammar. However, at least it was a post in the Package forum.

Actually, I think Micah and myself is the proper way to go...

From what I'm told, me is an objective prononun, but it should be "myself."

Check yo' self, fool, recognize the English major up in this bitch.

MICAH AND I is the proper phrase.

According to an ENGL Prof here it is acceptable but not 'proper.' Using 'myself' however falls into the 'proper' category, bro. But thanks...

Why is this even an argument?

The rules of English say that it's dependent on whether it's in the subject or verb part.

In this case, YES, it is incorrect to say "Micah and I" simply because this happens to be in the predicate part of the phrase, but I think the entire sentence ["As if we're not in your face enough, we'll be starting work on the soundtrack for Bill "Splat" Johnson's (the man who did the FX for 'The Patriot', 'Eight Legged Freaks', and 'Hoodlum') b&w indie horror flick Don't Worry, it's Only Your Imagination, which featured myself and Carl doing lots of behind the scenes stuff and featuring a quick cameo by Micah and I.] is grammatically inconsistent, so who cares?

You could correct Nick on not being consistent with his verb tense usage or on not being consistent with italics or quotations to note a proper name of a film or YOU not putting "Micah and Me" in quotes to note a specifically quoted phrase or a million other things.

OR

We could not give two shits and realize we all make grammatical mistakes here, Mr. "[This message has been edited by Adam McAllister]."

Give the man a break.

Actually, the mistake I made was using a ; instead of a ', a typing error not grammatical.

And I didn't care about the error. I did notice it but also noticed a dying topic that I figured could use a bump and made a joke (much like pointing out spelling errors that used to be all the rage). But when I was told I was wrong, I defended the accuracy of my statement. That is all...

If I were not against the use of smiley faces by guys (a long story), I would have used one to display my jovial intent. I didn’t but I figured people would be smart enough to realize that I might be the last person to truly care about anything grammatically.

I'm only jabbing as well, hence my smiley. Nothing unmanly about it, bitch.

Playful grammatical baiting...it's a wholesome pasttime.

And yes, you are right in this case. Had Nick used it in the subject part of the sentence, he'd be right.

As my hero and mentor Marv Albert would say... 'Yes!'

I'm close to using a smiley for you Micah, but I can't quite bring myself to it. My message icon will have to suffice!
