OUR OWN DISASTERS, new from PKG!

This one's kind of different, straddling genres. Kind of like an 80's semi-rocker meets the Phantom of the Park.

Our Own Disasters

Incredulously he blinks his wandering eye
So careless
We all create our own disasters
He’s no exception, now he’s questioned

Unexpectedly she sees his sideways glance
Just barely
We can’t predict our own disasters
She’s in denial, their love’s on trial

She never chose him
He never let her
Painful to be apart
They bleed as one
He never knew her
She never let him
Painful to be apart
Now they bleed as…

Two lives that once knew love and faced the world together
Now shred their flesh to live where one felt the world was black
Their world was ending, ending, ending, ending
We all find our own disasters

She never let time heal
Now he sees a flatline
Painful to be apart
Now they bleed as…

Two lives that once knew love and faced the world together
Now shred their flesh to live where one felt the world was black
Their world was ending, ending, ending, ending
Pain she shares with all who choose to defy her wish
We find our own disasters

Micah - Guitar solos, backing vocals
Steve - Drums, guitar, last solo
Nick - Bass, vocals

So very unique and layered. I love it. The harder to categorize the better.

Really enjoyed it. Elicits memories of other tunes that I can't quite place my finger on.

I like it a lot. I keep thinking of "People Are Strange" and some unknown Blue Oyster Cult song when I hear this, but that doesn't really do the song justice. I really like the guitar and vocal work on this track.

I dug this track. The guitar work is really great and that last solo was damn good.

Thank you folks, for your limited but nice comments.

Like the comments before, I think I have heard this song before, but I don't believe that is bad.

I felt the first minute and twenty seconds of the song needs to have 10 seconds shaved off it.

Strong guitar work from both gents.

Also, good vocals from Nick.

This song is good.

Wow... I like this. It felt more like a LN song, though. Well... until the howling guitar part. I dig this one. It's a great combination of classic guitar rock and something else... can't point it out yet. I'll come back when I figure it out.
