SMACKED WITH MOTORCYCLES, the new tune from PACKAGE

Package does a little punk action.

SMACKED WITH MOTORCYCLES
(lyrics: Nunziata - music: Nunziata, Robinson)

Peeling the wheels on a Wednesday eve
got blood on the chrome, ain't gonna wipe it off
I've been a straight arrow shooter through all of my days
it's time to repent, time to get crazed

no concern for the speedometer, and
just add to the odometer, and
you gotta grab it by the handlebars and swing it
you gotta swing it

I want to be smacked with mototrcycles
I want to be tasting the grit of the Autobahn
I want to be smacked with motorcycles
I want to be one with the road

Got the sickness of the long hard road
got asphalt in my veins and a gravelly heart
like a straight A student who discovers a babe
there's no turning back, it's time to get crazed

no concern for the speedometer, and
just add to the odometer, and
you gotta grab it by the handlebars and swing it
you gotta swing it

I want to be smacked with mototrcycles
I want to be tasting the grit of the Autobahn
I want to be smacked with motorcycles
I want to be one with the road

Kawasak it to me!

I'm an easy rider and I like to be hit
with a low riding Harley right across my visage
it's a natural high when they smack it down low
no need to talk, it's time for the show

no concern for the speedometer, and
just add to the odometer, and
you gotta grab it by the handlebars and swing it
you gotta swing it

I want to be smacked with mototrcycles
I want to be tasting the grit of the Autobahn
I want to be smacked with motorcycles
I want to be one with the road

Vocals: Nunziata
Drums, backing vocals and guitar: Robinson
Bass and backing vocals: Murphy

A real fun punk rocker. The title is theatrically-inspired, but the song is its own little creature. Something a little different than we've done in the past.

And how can you not love "Kawasak it To Meeeee!!!"?

With a teaser like that, how can anyone not download it?

Excellent tune. I'm assuming the title is from a movie - which one?

It's inspired by Jet Li's motorcycle-fighting in The One.

Thanks for the feedback. Can you give up some details, JW? Specific things you liked?

I was really expecting a better response to this. Then again, the draft has kind of monopolized the boards of late.

Fun tune. Lots of noise.

This is Package's catchiest song yet. A lot of fun to listen to. In the tradition of the drunken bar room sing-a-long (at least during the chorus). Nice job, fellers.

Pretty decent. I love the delivery of the titular line...it actually makes for one hell of a hook.

Samcked with moooooottttaaaaaacyyyyyycllleeeeeesssssss. Indeed.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHHA!!!

I read the lyrics, and they made me laugh.

I downloaded the song, and it's really making me laugh.

I think it's just the idea of WANTING to be smacked by a motorcycle. The word smacked is funny in itself. I'm laughing a lot right now.

It truly is punk, too. It feels like a hardcore mohawk punk song. I hope more people check this one out and think of the guy that gives Spock and Kirk the finger on the bus in Star Trek 4.

smacked with moist weasels

That is frickin' great! Thank you so much for posting all of these songs with the Leak.

Slightly off topic here, but what was the inspiration for the last bit (around the 2:40 mark) of No one special. What was a pretty average song devolves into what I can only describe as "throngs of scabby, dancing clowns with a whiff of hot dogs in the air".

No one special is brilliant.
