Best place to rent a DVD

You know, every time I walk into a BLOCKBUSTER location and spend money, I leave feeling, well, Dirty. Maybe some of you feel the same way.

I'm new to the area, and in the market for an alternative to corporate cinema. I live in Decatur, but i'm not above driving a bit. Anybody have any suggestions?

My sister told me about a place in Little 5 Points that used to be a Video Update. It's now something different. If you are coming from Ponce, it's on the left, as you are leaving L5P about a block from the Zesto. If you are coming from I-20, get off at Morland Ave. and head toward L5P. It will be on the right side right after the tunnel. The sign just says video store, but they have a big DVD emblem on the window. My sister went in there and said the clerk that helped her was very movie-friendly. I don't know if they have a great selection, as I've never been there, but it's worth looking into. Plus, it's not much of a drive.

One of my co-workers said that the Blockbuster video near Emory Univ. is good. She said they cater to the Emory/CDC crowd.

Also, there's another place in Virginia Highlands she said she goes to called "Movies Worth Seeing." My sister went there and said it was a neat store.

I'm really only familiar with the Northwest Fulton area. Don't know if you want to drive THAT far. Some places to check out other than Blockbuster are:

LaserVideo -- Located in the shopping center on the corner of Mansell Road and Old Alabama Connector

Hollywood DVD -- Picture a Hollywood Video/Blockbuster, only it's all DVDs. Located on Holcomb Bridge/Crossville Road/Hwy 92. Go West off GA 400 onto Holcomb Bridge. After you cross Hwy 9, you'll go about another 3-4 miles, and it's on the right, in front of the shopping center with the Super Target.

Those are the only places I frequent up here.

If you can make it here, this should be the only stop needed. Not the best For Sale prices but a hell of a rental selection.

Or use netflixs.
