"King" of Dragon*Con in Trouble...

Has anyone else read this article in the new Creative Loafing yet? Pretty wild stuff. Since they did 2001's D*C without him, I guess there won't be any problems this year with it occurring. Pretty radical charges filed against him, though.

And boy, does he look just like the dwarf in FOTR, or what?

That was a great article. It was so balanced that I'm still just as unsure about the legitimacy of the molestation charges. Does anyone out there have any opinions on this? Do you think Kramer might really be a pedaphile? Or is he just guilty of having a genuine love for kids?...er, I mean in a pefectly normal, non-Michael Jackson sort of way

Having talked to people that know him but AREN'T biased (i.e., they're neither in the Harlan Ellison camp or the Nancy Collins camp) I have one personal belief: He's GUILTY.

I'm not sure if he's guilty of all of the charges in this particular case, but there have just been too many detailed stories and eye-witness accounts... some even from people who are his supporters. Where there's smoke, there's fire.

Plus, that one account of the guy who went to Kramer's hotel room and saw both him and a young boy dripping wet with towels on should be enough to disturb and set doubt in ANYONE.

Well, said Bill.

All I'm saying is that my GUT tells me he's guilty. Of course, that means NOTHING and I could very well be wrong (and I hope I am).

But, like you... all I hope for is that the legal system finds out the truth for itself (whatever it may be) and the proper justice is carried out.
