I'll be there for Tenacious D on the 1st, Sevendust on the 18th, and Rob Zombie on the 24th? Any of you crazy kids gonna be in attendance?

I'll be there with a friend of mine for Rob Zombie. Maybe he'll regale us with tales from "House of 1000 Corpses".

I will also be taking in the sounds of The D on April 1st.

I would be there for the D if I had tickets.

I, myself, will be taking in the post Easter D show. In fact, I'm damn near giddy about it.

Come on, no one else is checking out the freaks at the Rob Zombie concert except me??? eek!

Are we all in agreement that last night's D show was awesome and that was the greatest opening band ever?
I missed the opening act, but Tenacious D were pretty damn funny.

It was indeed a great show. I looked for you guys last night, but the crowd would not give you fellas up. I was located in the middle level - 'the bread in the middle of the Big Mac', I think Mr. Black called it. misfit - you are kidding about that opening band, right? They stole the famous guitar riff from .38 Special's 'Hold on Loosely' and wrote their own song around it. Farg that! I wanted to hear 'Hold on Loosely.'

It was just such a weird spectacle. My friend that was with me described it as the most fucked-up thing he'd ever seen. And I did the same thing with the "Hold on Loosely" riff. I was all excited, and then nothing.

I was sitting in the middle section as well, to the left of the stage. I got to talk to a couple of the clowns and a monkey girl before they went on. Nice folks. I'm pretty sure that the lead singer owns the Star Bar, too.

I was on the floor all the way at the front, right in front of KG. Some of my friends from work videotaped the show from a good spot in the center of the floor. I am going to check out the tape tomorrow and if the quality is passable I'll make a few copies.
That would be a great show to get a copy of - I'd especially like to see the short films again.
That will not be a problem.
If I can get a copy of that, I'll name my firstborn "The Thirteenth."
If I could get a copy (since I didn't get to go) I'll see to it that Will names his second born Hester's Tool.

Hester, I think I saw you! Have you still got shaggy hair and a beard? I was dead center, front row. About midway, I looked over and caught a glance at you (I think). And if copies are available, I'll pay top dollar for one.

The show was great. The D rocked as hard as possible, and I laughed my ass of at the first "movie".

"Jack, c'mon, what are you doin?"
"TRIPPIN' BALLS!"

The opening act was perfect. I was standing right next to the girl who got poked with the ballon cock.

I am watching the tape now and it isn't too shabby. It was shot on Mini-dv and they got to use a tripod so it isn't shaky like most bootlegs. The audio is actually pretty decent.

The only problem I've noticed so far is that you can tell where the cameraman changed tapes and it's obvious a lower quality tape was used for the 2nd half. You can see a bit of pixellation and a the tape gets a few digital hits. Overall, though, I am pretty impressed with the quality.

Matchstick,

For reference, I would say this tape is much better than the other D tape I made you.

Yippie! I still owe you for the 'Jason X' bootleg.

I feel like I should change my name to bootleggerthe13th...
