Yeah. Dinner will be around 8:00.

I'll have Blo, Steve, and Lowshot with me. I think it should be someplace kind of relaxed... laid back.

There's a nice Italian place over here that's not too expensive but excellent called DiPaolo Cucina at the intersection of Nesbit Ferry and Holcomb Bridge that might be a good place to shoot the breeze. It's a small, warm place with concrete floors, illustrated walls, and a sense of authenticity rare in our suburban world. Plus it's run by women. I know we ate there after seeing HANNIBAL...

Another option would be the Ippolito's over by the new house It's not too crowed normally, and they have a diverse selection of grub. Pizza/pasta/calzone/stromboli/sandwiches.

Another option would be to masticate beef at the Longhorn near the new house. It's a chain, but a good one... and it's been a while since we went.

Either way, as soon as I get a head count (right now I have Blo, Me, Daniel, Steve, Cesar, and Micah on my mental list)... I'll call the joint we choose.

Afterwards, we can hit the house and those that want to do HALO can and those that want to relax may do so.

I only have 3 TV's here. So as it stands, we'll only have 3 on Fri/Sat... unless another arrives.

Sounds great. I vote for Longhorn or the first Italian place (the Hannibal one) on Friday. I'll try and meet up with you at your place around 7:30 or so.

Do you really think we need more than 3 TVs?

We never have more than 2 teams of four playing and 3 (4 on the big screen, 2 each on the smaller TVs) displays is usally nice enough to accomodate even the sniper levels.

Actually, I should've listed the Italian place first as that was my preferred option. I was wondering when we were going to go back because I loved that meal we had there.

Anybody got an idea of how long it's going to take me to get from up 400 to Nick's, starting from 285? It normally takes me 25 minutes, just wondering how much more I should factor in for a Friday afternoon rush hour.

I do it all the time. You should allow an hours drive, just to be sure. Maybe even an hour and a half, due to rain + Georgia drivers = stupid idiots.

If I were you, I'd leave around 6:30 to be safe. Sometimes fridays can back up the highway for much longer than regular weekdays.

Sorry I'll miss the festivities this weekend. Sounds like a fun weekend planned.

I'll be at the coffee meeting, but couldn't find a Baby Muncher, so the twin destroyers will be tagging along.

However, this only really means that I will miss HALO, because Gelfling is off work at 6:30 and I will have the rest of the evening to come back and join you all for dinner and other fine offerings.

It was nice to finally see some Chewers in the flesh and guts yesterday. What is planned for the next few weekends? Any more screenings soon?

By the way, Nick, do you have more CHUD t-shirts, etc. for sale other than what is currently online? Are there any black or green ones? Am I better off picking this stuff up by coming by during the weekend gatherings than trying to get it online?

Carl, do you know when you will be going to another one of these? When you do know, please contact me and maybe we'll travel together or at least meet up with the rest.

PS- I have never played Halo, so if I come to one of these just to hang, you'll all know why. Later...
