Maybe I'm alone in this, but I've been thinking for a while that it might be cool to see what someone might do with the medium of silent film today. Then I come across this in this week's flagpole:

This Monday, at the Georgia Theatre in Athens. Of course, I'm in LA, so I won't be there, but someone should check it out and let us know how it is.
