"Spaceballs 3: The Search for Spaceballs 2" was going to be made, but John Candy died. Brooks spent a couple of years prepping "The Producers" for Broadway and is now doing that with "Young Frankenstein."

The last thing he did acting-wise in a feature was in an odd Italian comedy called "Screws Loose" or something like that.

He needs to be making movies again.

Considering the diminishing returns we've been getting from his films, it's probably for the best.

I want the Schwarts dammit!

I love Spaceballs but with Candy gone there is just no point really.

But someone needs to make him one solid script so he can make one last great movie.

To go out on "Dracula Dead and Loving it" would be a shame.

Oh hell yes, he gave that amazing "I'm my own best friend!" line.

Fucking shit.

Spaceballs had its moments, but with the quality Mel Brooks has been responsible for lately, I can't say I'd be very excited about a Spaceballs II movie.
A return to form for Mel Brooks would be great, but I'm not sure it will happen. Watched "Men In Tights" a while ago. Painful stuff. I liked the guy playng Robin Hood, and the stick-fighting scene was funny, but otherwise it wasn't very good at all.

"What is your name?"
"Atchoo."
"Bless you."

Not very funny the first time, and definitely not funny the fifth time.

Spaceballs 2: Attack of the Clowns.

I love John Candy and all, but is he really that needed? The whole "Mawg" gag was never funny. I think they could and should do it without him. Bring on Spaceballs: Episode 26, Part 2, Section C, Article 19, Subsection F: Lot's of People Die.
