After seeing that clip that Shelby posted, I'm dying to see a live action Transformers movie. Even a new animated one would be cool, but a big budget flick would be awesome. Course, it'll never happen, but a man can dream, right?

Well, seeing how the new Transformers comic knocked Marvel off the top spot and was the biggest selling independent comic ever, plus the current Hollywood mania for all things cult and retro, plus the advances in CGI, plus the merchandising possibilities...

I'd say it's not that unlikely. Won't be the same without Orson though...

That clip was great! A live-action Transformers movie with the original voice cast... mmm... I'd love to see that. Too bad they can't get Orson Welles back to do Unicron, though.

why exactly would they bring Unicron back?
first he blew up and then for awhile his head talked but the head talking by itself was not Orson Wells. there are SO many better stories they can do instead of repeating themselves with what they already did in the OTHER movie

There is always going back and doing the original war - from when the arielbots went back in time and Orion Pacs became Prime and do a whole war trilogy about that - make it like the battle at the end of Attack of the Clones.

they DEFINATELY could do a live action movie
first have actors dressed in the robotsuites (just like Robocop or clonetroopers or Jango Fett or Darth Vader all look like robots)
Next have morphing into their disguises.
If you can make a battlefield like Mt.Doom come to life or the Clone Wars as such you certainly can make a live action transformers

Lenord Nimoy should still be Galvatron though because he CAN look sinister
Eric Idle COULD be Wreck-Gar still
Not just the voices
