Bruce Willis as Philip Marlowe

Anyone here think there should be an updated Philip Marlowe film. The Long Goodbye and the Big Sleep are fine the way they are so reamking them would be pointless but what about 'Farewell, My Lovely' or 'The Little Sister', If Bruce Willis could star as Phil Marlowe then it'd be great.

Three words "The High Window".

Willis as Marlowe seems like a stretch at first, but I could get used to the fact.

I see Willis as an unstoppable, but human, juggernaut, which is not my take on Marlowe. I see Marlowe as supremely human, with all of the requisite weaknesses, though Marlowe is unaffected and unconcerned with other's weaknesses. Hows about Guy Pierce as Marlowe?

How about Viggo Mortensen as Marlowe?

How bout Gilbert Gottfried?

Bruce Willis as Philip Marlowe is a darn good idea.

Robert Downey Jr. will sort of be playing Philip Marlowe in the upcoming remake of The Singing Detective...

Willis kinda did the world-weary PI bit in The Last Boy Scout...Which I hoped would be a franchise, minus Wayans...
