Repeat after me: "As a rule, sequels suck"; especially since Neilsen's BEST comedic work comes when he's playing it deadpan in a ridiculous situation, as opposed to the furious mugging he perpetrates in his more recent roles. NG 33 1/3 is subpar at best.

To tell you the truth whenever I watch Sealab 2021 on adult swim I cant help but think how much Leslie Nielsen would kick ass as the captain.

I wish they would start production on 'Sherlock Holmes and the Vengance of Dracula'.

SEALAB 2021 is great, but the thought of it stretched over 90 minutes is...excruciating;

The great thing about Adult Swim is that most of the 'toons I enjoy are about 15 min; enough to develop a humorous idea, but not enough to kill it.

Remember Seinfeld's adage: always leave 'em wanting more!

How about some movies spun off from UHF.

The theatrical version of Ghandi 2 could have potential.

If I could, I'd pay to have the Thomas Covenant books put on film. I'd foot the bill, I want to see them that badly.

Heck, you could do that with Amazon Women on the Moon and The Kentucky Fried Movie too - who would you pick to direct "Cleopatra Schwartz"?

There needs to be another MST3K movie... to remind the world what the fuck it's missing.

Could Zucker/Abrahams do it? They did the original, and so I think they would be the best to do the spin-off. Of all of today's directors, I think it's give and take. You get the Farrelly Bros, but they haven't had anything really good since There's Something About Mary. Jay Roach might be good too, but I haven't seen Goldmember yet, so I don't know how enthusiastic I'd be about it. The Coen Bros would give it a far less slapstick approach, but that might be the best avenue for all involved.

Final judgement: The Coen Bros by just a little bit.
