Twilight Zone: the Movie

Thread Starter
I propose a new Twilight Zone movie.
So the first one wasn't too bad. It managed to get together some of the most talented moviemakers of its time to join in creating an updated version of the Twilight Zone series. Spielberg, Dante, Landis and George Miller. Why not make a new Twilight Zone flick with some of today's most talented directors? The flick should be hard PG-13, if not flat out R-rated.
We could have it in the same format..
-Intro,
-Twilight Zone titles,
-First story, with narration from a well-voiced -veteran actor,
-Second story ditto,
-Third story ditto,
-Outro.

A list of possible actors who could fit the narration bill...
-Ian McKellen w/o accent
-... that's all I can think of right now.

List of possible directors for this new venture into the Twilight Zone...
-David Fincher, for sure. He could end the entire movie with a bang, much like George Miller did in the original.
-Christopher Nolan. Perfect for this kind of weirdness.
-M Night Shyamalanalangadang. He's talented, and into the uncanny.
-Rob Zombie? Could make a gross-out piece like no man can.
-Steven Soderbergh. Why not.
-Peter Jackson.
-Bryan Singer.

Anyone have anyone to add? Maybe some story ideas?

I for one, would love to see a modern version of "The Monsters are Coming To Maple Drive" directed by either Soderbergh or Fincher.

The Twilight Zone, done right, is something I would look forward to like Ragnarok. Of course, you would have to know if I mean Ragnarok, the end of all things, or ragnaraok, the new beginngin that followed. I mean choice B. Don't worry.

Honestly, Colin Farrel in MINORITY REPORT reminded me a lot of Serling. The look moreso than the voice. As far as voice, Charlton Heston maybe.

Anybody but Henry Rollins, who at the close of each NIGHT VISIONS story was always resisting the urge to call us all "Assholes!" at the end of his speech.

So who would be killed in this one?

I offer three:

Ed Norton
Robert DeNiro
Julia Roberts
