The world needs a live-action UROTSUKIDOJI movie!!!

It should be based on the first three OVA episodes (or the theatrical edit called "Legend of the Overfiend"). As for directors I could very well imagine that Stuart Gordon would jump at the chance and considering how well he handled tentacles in "Dagon" I have no doubts that he could pull it off. Oh, and as far as the usual suspects go, Guillermo del Toro would also be a fine choice. Hey, Nicolas Cage could produce it and maybe co-star, after all he has said in various interviews (in Playboy for example) how much he loves the series. He could be the lead tentacle! The possibilities are endless! Of course to even attempt an adaptation with a budget under 200 million $ would be idiotic. But it COULD happen! I would have never thought that Hollywood would remake AKIRA and now Stephen Norrington (Death Machine, Blade, League of Extraordinary Gentlemen) is working on that! And if UROTSUKIDOJI, the live-action movie, does as well at the box office as I know it will, we could very well get a new wave of US produced theatrical tentacle rape porn! Just imagine: A US version of La Blue Girl directed by Larry Clark, Demon Beast Invasion directed by Michael Bay and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, etc, etc ... hell, it wouldn't be long and we'd get Tentacle Theme Parks (TM) and nobody would go to Disneyworld anymore ...

Wow, I actually knew that there are live-action LA BLUE GIRL films in Japan but now they're getting an US release?!? Hell, yes! Anyone know if they still have that mosaic-censorship thing that keeps the viewer from seeing the really good stuff? Also, is that weird little dwarf with the neverending erection in the live-action version as well? You know, the one that looks like a tent with eyes?

And yes, that is one GREAT cover! Nobody does tentacles quite as well as the Japanese. I bet they have universities were you have to study for at least decade to get a diploma in Tentacleology ...

A Urotsokodoji live-action film should be made, if only to give the MPAA ratings board a collective stroke.
