There are three novels in this series by Jim Butcher. the first one was published in 2000 so the series is pretty new. Every book in this series is screaming to be made into a film. It is basicly about Harry Dresden who is a wizard that is highered by the Chicago PD to help as a "Consultant" on some of the weirder cases they have to solve. The books are told in the first person by Harry Dresden and remind me of the old detective movies except the crimes in this are supernatural.
I recomend that you go out and read them then start a campain to get this books on film.
