We've been busy. Here's the next track off the second LN record (the first is BEYOND THE BONES, right here: http://chud.nexcess.net/board/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=47;t=000004 ).

A little bit like GARBAGE, kinda. Electronic, but with a center busting with groove.

Dust To Dust (words - N.N. music - N.N. J.M S.M.) 2:09

We are so reckless, fed off an energy source untapped
the grasp of youth has let us down
a shallow pool of impulses

Face the face of the faceless man
behind the curtain and you'll understand
basically we're a motherboard
a powderkeg with a fuse unlit
no shit, but to light the fuse
you do it now, before commercial break
no need to do it halfway
test your limitations today

We are so restless, this is what I mean
who needs anesthesia in the form of a square
talking machine

Break the box like a dying branch
and dig a hole for the remote control
why sit still wondering how it could be
soon you'll be in reruns
no shit, but here's the twist
take a painkiller and test the breeze
grease the fuse before it's rust
flash to ash and dust to dust

Nick Nunziata - Vocals and Keys
Steve Murphy - Guitar
John Makarewicz - Drums and Guitar

Nice, best vocals on a Nightstick song so far.

I like the beat and the guitar work in this one a lot.

It did seem a little short, but I liked the way it ended.

EDITED-cause I can't spell.

Thanks a lot Tony for giving us all the love you give. I agree with you on the length-it could be a little longer. Anyway, I really like this song. It was probably my favorite so far to record-my kind of drumming.

The Drums were amazing on this.

I liked the ideas, and the different elements incorporated in the song, but I couldn't get into it until the guitar parts and the chorus. I don't know, I guess it was too busy on the noises happening all over the place. For MY taste.

My ears are bleeding after that song. Definitely a different sound for you guys. The beginning was a bit too musically "busy", I thought, but I liked the song once it got past that part. And the vocals sounded great. I liked how the ended the song on the last word.
