Before we go further, if you're not aware... our goal is to have one SPY SONG and a BRIEFING to precede it on every CD. Exploder had IN PLAIN SIGHT, and Levitator is having this one. Another goal is to carry one aspect from each song over to the next. In this case, it's term "Silenced Forever", which was in the other song. I even tried to keep the delivery similar. The briefings are recorded this way: I get a bunch of random comments and responses from the person I brief, in this case John. I then create a discussion using his responses and come up with some silly briefing.

Otherwise, these songs are light years apart. The song Steve and I did is really James Bond-ish. This one's more modern, if there was a higher tech and more physical agent (no, not xXx).

I've combined the briefing and song here for your listening displeasure:

Silenced Forever
(Nunziata/Makarewicz)

You've got to slide, and feel the curve of the road
Like the body of the one you had the night before
Stone cold alone, each night a new role to own
Silence the competition
The wetwork begins when the deed is done

So tired of waiting, so tired of living
Drop your guard, and you're silenced forever

You have one opening to make your future
If lady luck shows some skin you'll get a chance
Stone cold alone, each night a new place to roam
Silence the competition
Walk in the shadows if you love to breathe

So tired of waiting, so tired of living
Drop your guard, and you're silenced forever

We…
Will die for you
Will kill for you
Will outlast you
Will turn a blind eye
Will improve on you
Will be silent right among you

Guitar & Drums: Makarewicz
Vocals & Keys: Nunziata

Interesting. I wish I could be more detailed, but that's how I feel about it. Neither good nor bad...it's just different.

So now you're one song away from the record being done, right?

Yeah, Levitator's just about done. There's three songs already recorded and waiting for the next CD, which is a LONG way away.

Interesting, eh?

I thought it'd be up your alley, but c'est la vie. Folks, give it a rip for the love of John Schneider.

I can hear the secret agent vibe coming from this track. The instrumental kinda sounds like it could be a remix of a theme song from some 60's TV show. Don't take that as an insult, please. I rather like this track.

Without a backlog of songs, I think your molecules would come undone. That's just the way you work, crimes.

Why would that album be so far away, tho?

You have access to Steve and/or Johnny Mak almost every weekend. And you play pretty often. I'd think you could get that one done pretty quickly.

I personally have a lot of pressing things to work on, and despite the gangbusters overwhelming nonstop enthusiastic responses we get to our music on here, I'm in no hurry.

Leviator's a wonderful mix of songs that I think all three of us are proud of. We'll work on songs when the mood rises, like with PKG.

In the meantime, the physical weekend activity and War of the Monsters/HALO fests are a good complement. Plus, it's gettin' to baseball time!

Micah, regarding the PKG query you had the other day, early next week?

Weird. But good weird. Didn't know what to make of it at first, but it's a definite grower. It's stuck in my head, which is usually a good sign.

And that intro is insane. You guys are like Tenacious D! But, like, you rock more! Dude!

That intro kicked amazing amounts of ass. Great stuff.

The song is great, and I really like the inherent spy vibe. Good stuff.

Let me just say that, at first, I was rather indifferent to the song. I was expecting something along the lines of a "traditional" spy song like we did with In Plain Sight, so I was thrown off in the beginning.

But now, after many re-listens, I really love the tune. It's awesome in it's diversity, and yet it still keeps the espionage feel throughout.

If my spy character is more Bondish (In Plain Sight), then John's has more in common with Jason Bourne, i. e. more modern.

As different as the two songs are, the similarities are just enough to tell the two are related.

It was certainly worth the wait. Micah, I really hope you give it more chances. It should grow on you.

If not, then John hates you.

The opening intro was great the entire song wasn't bad but different and odd.

The intro is hilarious, and your song while not in the style of the rest still makes an impact in an already great album. I can't wait for the finished product.

Funky, rockin' little song. I dug it.

Love.

Nick, do you have the script to the dialogue that precedes this song?

...I got my fuckin dick shot off...

...You're a sick twist Johnny boy...

My favorite track yet, good job boys!

The intro was funny as hell, but it was a little long, you might wanna keep it as a seperate track. Just a suggestion.

I clicked on the link to this song after reading the latest Chewer Obituary. I don't know nuthin' 'bout no Lucky Nightsticks band. I did like it, and I didn't know it was supposed to be a "spy" song. It just sounded right away like it was made for a movie.

It would be in a movie that had Clive Owen as the spy.
