What a great looking cover on that magazine this month (my own feelings about "Blade Runner" aside).
Question for Nick - when you mention the retrospective on "Don't Look Back," you mean the Bob Dylan doc? I actually think that's a pretty incredible documentary for the time, quite revolutionary for what it was. I saw it at the Alamo Drafthouse on the big screen hosted by D.A. Pennebaker once in Austin and really thought that was one helluva great documentary and really showed off how documentary filmmaking was about to CHANGE in a big way - with influences from movies like "A Hard Day's Night" shining through (somewhat) and later, how something like this then influenced a movie like "Medium Cool."
Or, maybe I'm just talking out of my ass.
As usual.
