Could use a bit of help with my Foundations project

What we are supposed to do is come up with a personality bed. In class everyone wrote down 10 adjetives that describe yourself and the instructors picked what each persons final 2 would be. Mine was LAZY and HAIRY so my bed has to incorporate those two.

What I'm doing is making a bread bed (bread=loaf, loaf=lazy. It will be a loaf of french bread on bed legs (all mini of course) and a wee little pillow on top. And the bed legs will be all curved and off a bit to indicate lazyness. On top of the bread and I'll put hair on it.

Now does anyone know what a good material could be used to represent hair? Something from nature?

I am SOOOOOoooo confused....

I'd help, but you have to explain what the hell a "personality bed" is first...

I would bet you could go to a barber shop or salon and they'd be happy to fulfill your hair-needs...Just make sure you explain to them what you want it for and that you're not part of a giant government DNA conspiracy experiment...

Those little plastic hooks on velcro.

Or you could just grow some mold on the top of your bed, but the former would be best.

Also try carpet. You may want to get some shag.

A favourite pastime of many a Chewer.

I like the mold idea for some reason. Kinda ties in with the 'Lazy' theme for me, i.e. too lazy to go out and get materials to put 'hair' on it.

Yeah mold would work but the bread loaf and also the legs (which are half finished) represent lazyness.

The project is coming along rather nicely, I just have to figure out how to use for the hair and how to put it into the bread.

Could you just get some of that fake fur stuff from a craft or fabric store and make a blanket and a pillow out of it?

Yeah but instead what I did was I got a fresh loaf of bread, so its still soft. I used my etching needle from printmaking class to punch little holes in the bread and then I inserted my own specialtly made hair. For that I got a brown paper bag, cut strips and then put them in water, then twisted them so they are very thin.

It actually came out pretty good looking.
