Movie Posters

I'd like you guys to tell me what you think of a couple of posters i designed for a couple of movies that never got made. My server wont let me link to the pictures directly, but <a href="http://www.mrkrueger.150m.com/pp-edited01.htm" target="_blank">here</a> is the page that they are on. I'd love to hear any feedback at all.

Thanks

Hey Freddy.

Here's my humble O: I like the second graphic better, but I don't like the paragraph length tagline. Maybe just the last bit, "How can you escape when you can't go outside?" would be better. Or, just one that came off the top of my head, perhaps something like, "Sanctuary can be a prison."

Sounds interesting, though. Will there be copies available to loyal Chewers for a fair price?

Those are pretty dope, meaning cool.

I really like the second "Breathe" poster - love the eye. Not too keen on the logo - too fussy, with the different sized letters and underscores. And I agree that the last line of the tag is all that's needed. But cool imagery, definitely.

It certainly isn't "wack" (meaning bad), in fact it's "bad" (meaning good).

Sadly, niether of these will become movies anymore. the plug has been pulled, for now at least. i know he has them written, but i dont think that they will be movies any time soon. He tried very hard to get breathe going, but things came up and he couldnt do it.
His latest script is entitled "Realms" and it is one amazing piece of work. Everything he writes (except maybe Amanatek) is brilliant and has NEVER been done before.

And also, thanks for the feedback on the posters, i really hope nobody looked at the "Adam Cow" pic, because then i will run and hide (boy do i hate that picture).

Here is the person who wrote the fine scripts that the posters were the basis for:
JARED MATTHEW DAWE

This is from Snowjob 2002, He is there on stage with the mic to his mouth. (I, unfortunatly, am only there behind the stage)

oh damn... i think im begining to shill... sorry. lol

Yeah im inclined to agree here.
The second poster was the best one but the size of the logo doesnt do it for me, its too big and imposes on the creepiness of the artwork.
To me the artwork should be the priority but the logo imposes too much on it. But the eye is excellant very creepy.
Not sure about the poster for 'Amanatek', the pics of the floating bodies look a bit on the amatuerish side, maybe if they were sillouetted instead and the eye in the middle just confused me (which isnt hard).

But i do really like the 2nd 'Breathe' poster. Do u do this for a living or just for fun?.(this is not meant sarcastically)

Thanks, Mr. Krueger. That was damn funny.

I too like the final version of the 'Breathe' poster. You seem to have a good eye for interesting shots.

Thanks for the feedback everyone.

Rath, i wish i could do one for you, but i really dont want to do any posters for anyone until i actually learn how to use photoshop.
I did these when in paint shop pro 7. I am still very limited in what i can do with the programs, i am only fairly good at altering photographs for now, until i unlock the powers of photoshop. I can let you know when my confidence is a tad higher though.

anyone know of any good online photoshop courses that dont need the cd that the program came on.
