Gots me a new dolly to paint 'n stuff!

I'll be posting photos as things progress, but here are a couple starters. And some backstory:
I have been coveting this Japanese doll called Super Dollfie for ages now and Johnny managed to get his hands on the $500 to get my one for my b-day.

This baby can be repainted over and over, eyes can be changed, hair changed, clothes, the whole nine yards.

Right now I have to disassemble her and sand down the seams on her parts, then I need to restring her and put her back together, after that I will insert rubber encased poseable wire for a kind of secondary armature to make her more poseable, once I get all that done, I'm gonna take her apart again and repaint the face completely

Hoooo, 3am, going to bed now, BUT.

I finished sanding down all her seams so she is smooth. I also cut out suede pieces to line the areas where the joints swivel so there's more friction since she is pretty slippery.

I was going to spray coat her in a matte finish but I think I want to blush her body contours...I actually just restrung her and that was a complete bitch.

The head's not on yet because I want to give her new make-up but the stuff I bought from the company that makes her is a pain in the ass to work with (it's powdery and very tough to get precise lines etc.) , I think I'm going to have to go with the recommended Liquitex paint which can be removed with acetone/nail polish remover (I believe) without damaging the doll.

I'm off to bed before I pass out, but I'll post more pics tomorrow (later, ack).

And you have no idea the images that the term "she's slippery" conjure up for me. You gotta stop that. I only got so much windex.

I love it! We have the cutie plush Cthulhu, he lives with various stuffed creetures pretty happily wink

And I really want to bring her (her name's Nana) to Fango but if I don't finish a semi-minimal paint job on her face I may not, it's such a pain in the ass to disassemble her that I'm going to leave the current paint job on her for a bit since I can't paint her without having the head off.

Hollow Point, your need to violate my dolls worries me, next time you come over, she may be behind glass ya pervie ;p

And not only does she have nips, she has a lil anatomically correct bird too, luv tha Japanese! you should see the boys...

Are we playing this weekend HPM? I'll bring her along so you can salivate, but no touch! wink
And yes, a boy is so forthcoming, Xmas me hopes, but a Hong Kong knock off is in order, he's only $200 versus the Japanese $650.

Just an update, for anyone interested, I would provide a new set of pics but the frikkin camera broke.

I "blushed" her today, meaning her nips are now a lovely shade of prepubescent pink as are all her contours, ie: collar bone, breasts, ribs, shoulder blades, etc. I also gave her the first matte coating of finishing spray, once I get the blushing looking perfect, I will spray coat over that to make it permanent. I used crushed up pastels to do this, messy, but effective. Her lips have been painted using nailpolish so they look slick and sheeny.

Here's an example of what I just did, though my doll is nowhere near as dark as this one (this person also airbrushed there's I believe, way too permanent and not as easily fuck-up fixable IMO):

She's lookin mighty fine, I will get pics up ASAP, I'll be at a pals Sunday where I hope to utilize a camera, if anyone's interested that is...

I know the distorted mind of a Girlcreeture may bore some, but this doll rocks my world, I love her.

She's made by <a href="http://www.volks.co.jp" target="_blank">Volks</a>, a Japanese company, sculpted by Akihiro Enk.

Here's her latest and more Girlcreeture-esque incarnation (I've been busy, she lies in pieces again in my art room).

Ok, you want no clothes? Check this shit out, my doll doesn't have an outfit like this yet because I have to learn how to make it first, but it's pretty cool eh?

Those are adorable. I actually wanna get her some crazy snow boots they make for American Girl dolls and dress her up in a furry bikini with them. I am getting me mum to knit a pink hoodie with ears for her.

And guess who just got black lace panties and a chiffon negligee

Pics SOON, I just repainted her mouth last night and I'm adding eyelashed when I get home.

It was not posted on purpose. After the trauma of seeing my poor Nana in the vicinity of that nastiness I had to ask HPM if he meant it and he didn't.

He was trying to link to a bunny or something, so it's the ole switch the linked photo thang.
