The Weather

I don't know about y'all, but this is weird weather we're having today. Tornado warnings, hailstones, lightning storms. All in one day...and this is the Central Valley! Hail in Calaveras County, funnel clouds in Elk Grove...The Force is not with us.

Sorry, my fault. I was pissed and playing with the Team Django Weather Dominator until about two hours ago when my collection of Tales From The Gold Monkey episodes arrived.

Now it's nuthin' but blue sky...

I still have clouds flying on the radar over here. Drizzle every now and then. Good Lawd I love this weather. Too bad I am chained to a desk at work!

I'm borrrrredd - what plaything can you offer me today?

Machine: An obscure body in the SK (Swedish Kroner) system, Django - the inhabitants refer to it as the planet Earrrrrrrrth...

Django: How completely fucking stupid it looks.

Django picks up the Weather Dominator Unit - which looks suspiciously like a Sega Dreamcast controller...

With a quick button combo and a flick of the analog switch, 70% of Long Beach California is flooded.

Machine: Nice job, Donger, you LIVE her- er, EXCELLENT, Django - we'll destroy this...(ahem) EARRRRRRRRRRTH...

Django: Later! I'd like to watch a few episodes of Tales of the Gold Monkey...before annihilation.

HAHAAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAA!!!!

But if one scratch comes to Cutter's Goose heads -on any planet- are gonna ROLL!

I don't know what's worse.

That I paid money for Tales of the Gold Monkey or that everyone knows what Tales of the Gold Monkey is.

We're all dating ourselves here. Ain't we?

And all the TDj implements of mass destruction look suspiciously like Sega Dreamcast controllers...

And the God of Time said, "Verily, I say unto thee; When the Goose and the Monkey are in the same house then you will know the end is near."

And they did look perplexed upon the God of Time as the smoke rose, carrying him unto the heavens.

It was only then that the People could rejoice.

I got goosed in the house one time. Does that count?

Yeah yeah. I'll rejoice when it stops snowing again. May 22nd, and I can't see the city core for snow. And, AND, there's lightning as well.

Weird.

S.N.O.W.?

What is "snow", please?

Snow? It's like smog, only easier to breathe and harder to drive in.

Lightning in a heavy snowstorm in the city is one of the strangest weather effects I"ve ever seen, though. The air, not just the sky, flashed orange with every strike. Bizarre.

Oh, you mean that cold, white stuff I have read about. They have that back east some place, tight?

99 degrees today...awfully early to be this hot. Conspiracy?

I blame bin Laden for the weather. Although there was weird weather three years ago at 9:11 in the morning on a summer day. I think the FBI knew about this crazy weather and did nothing to prevent it!

Anyhoo, last week there were blizzards in the state (news even made the Bob and Tom show) and this week it's been in the mid-80's. Crazy, crazy stuff.

All my implements of destruction look remarkably similar to the original NES Advantage joystick.

Duh- I guess it would help to mention I'm in Montana.
