Man, I wish I'd heard about this earlier! Probably not gonna make it, but what an amazing event. Thought I'd post it for anyone out there who's interested (and who wouldn't be?). Classic Mexican masked wrestler films, appearences by two legends of the genre, live masked wrestling, and burlesque performance by The Velvet Hammer girls! This is all going down tonight and tomorrow.

Wish I was in L.A. That sort of thing is my bag. Love the Luchas so much I have a tattoo of one. We have a burlesque show like that in The Jet City. They're called The Gun St. Girls.

Wanted to go tonight (actually, I was divided between Lucha Libre action or Wayne Kramer) for my birthday (me treating me - yay!), but alas, I'm set to do some shooting.

Drat. Maybe next time.
