So, living in Boston can be a drag sometimes, 'specially when it snows in April and Spring is a mere shadow that won't arrive for another 2 months.

But. It does have it's pluses, namely, the ever wonderful Coolidge Corner Theatre in Brookline, and Grand Openings, local Brookline sex shop haven.

Once a year, Grand Openings and Coolidge host the "You Oughtta Be in Pictures" extravaganza. A compilation of amateur porn made by the citizens of Massachusetts is put together from many an entry to create a 2 hour night of some really excellent and some really disgusting smut. At the end of the evening, contributors may stand up and reveal themselves for applause or remain anonymous, and the finale is the destruction of the video itself; thus eliminating evidence. Although they're making a compilation of the vids where people have given permission and that should be available soon.

Anyway, would you participate? Or watch? I'm still undecided, though anonymity is guaranteed...

Ok, how can you remain anonymous, unless all shots are closeups of various bodyparts...and if that's the case, what's the point?

It's very easy to remain anonymous: do what you just mentioned (which people did do), wear a mask or heavy make-up (which people did do, all I have to say is the clown one hurt me severely), don't stand up at the end, or don't show up.

It's fun all around, whether you reveal yourself or not, you still know that a whole bunch of people just paid $12 to watch your penis get covered in hot wax (yeah that one looked painful) or see you beat the living crap out of a gimp and slave girl while you're corseted to a 16" waist (ow ow ow).

And I almost forgot to mention this for Grendel (if he's out there): You'd have LOVED the lesbians wink

I would watch. Though I don't find any S&M remotely erotic or interesting to watch.

The only S&M I like would be being tied up or tying up your partner.

It wasn't all S&M, and the parts that were there had the crowd moaning painfully. Not everyone is into it, but it sure is interesting to watch.

I'd do it, I just gotta convince the creeture. You just gotta think of yourself as a porn star when the camera's rolling, and you'd be amazed at what you can pull off.

Actually, a former roommate of mine was an amateur wannabe porn director.

The only problem was that he was getting his bearings IN OUR APARTMENT.

So I'd come home from a long day of work and see some chick half-naked posed on top of his bed or occasionally MY BED rubbing herself and doing whatever he asked.

Sounds like a dream, but it ain't, let me tell you.

That reminds me of the tape I saw of Brett Michaels and Pam Anderson doing it. They were taping themselves, and they were more interested in watching themselves do it than doing it to each other. So every act and moment was meant more for the camera than for themselves.

It's one of the greatest movies I've ever watched.
