Video+Breakup=Who gets the tape?

Reading Girlcreeture's thread about video, got me thinking.

Have any of you made a tape with someone and then not ended up with a copy after the relationship ended? I've got a couple of tapes floating around, but only one that I don't have my own copy. It's not that I obsess over that part of my past, but I am interested in revisiting it occasionally.

So, what's the protocol? I'm still friends with the other party in the tape and she even mentioned it to me once post-breakup. It wasn't a friendly breakup, there's no such thing, but it wasn't horrible. Have any of you requested a copy of a tape from an ex? While we're on the topic, how many of you watch tapes of yourself with past partners, whether you are in a relationship or not?

Whomever gets it do not throw it away. Or at least that's the advice I got from a best friend who regrets thowing away his home made porn, now that he's over the break up, I think he likes the idea of the onastic revenge he could achieve with it. But then, what's worse: not having it, or masterbating to what's no longer available?

Found myself in this situation once and we agreed to destroy/tape over the tape.

Yes, there were times later that I wished I still had it, but I am also glad to know it's not floating around out there somewhere.

I would agree with this advice wholeheartedly.

Yeah, it'd be nice to have it, but a mutually observed destruction is probably the safest route.

My point is this:

Let your girl friend think there is only one tape and make copies. That way you can throw out the tape right in front of her.
