"All at once we were madly, clumsily, shamelessly, agonizingly in love with each other; hopelessly, I should add, because that frenzy of mutual possession might have been assuaged only by our actually imbibing and assimilating every particle of each other's soul and flesh."

Anyone ever felt like that about someone, that they wanted to devour them?

Yes.

I give this thread 5 posts before it suddenly becomes about oral sex.

Only 3 Coyote. I remember one time, as I was walking around the side of my house to take out the garbage my girlfriend was at work and I walked around and saw one of my upstairs neighbors (both female) sitting on her steps. This girl was really cute in a shy neighbor girl sort of way. Anyway, I said hi and we started chit-chatting then she said something to me that still gets me worked up to this day. She said "I'm bored, come upstairs and eat me." Needless to say, I stood there speechless for about 10 seconds with my mouth gaping wide open.
But we had a grand time that afternoon until my girlfriend got home.

Not really. I mean, I love and have loved people...but not to that point.

Is that a good thing or a bad thing? wink

My wife. I can remember the exact moment that I felt that way, too, and it does this weird hitching thing to my breath and makes my blood sing.

This is only weird if you know me: I'm damn reserved, largely self-contained, and not given to that sort of rot. But man, that's when she was under my skin, and that's when I knew it.

Despite all the evil that preceded it, and has arisen since, THAT was a lovely, perfect day.
