I drive to Long Island for work, thankfully.

Wow that's a stupid statement.

Er...but otherwise, a lot of people I know are either going to stay home or call a cab service...there's not many other choices if you don't have a carpool going.

I'll be walking, but it's not that far anyways, only a couple of blocks. It'll sort of be like the post office: "whether neither rain, nor snow, nor sleet, nor ice nor gloom of night..", because I hear tomorrow it's going to snow.

Anyways, I'm sure Bloomberg will be out riding his new $500 mountain bike. Let's hope that he's got plenty of protection from angry pedestrians.

Anyone notice that this guy (along with Pataki's help recently) has seemingly managed to piss off more people/voters in his few months in office than Guiliani did his entire term?

I also wonder how the city is going to inforce this "no less than 4 passengers per car". There'll be a lot of people blowing that off and doing what they normally do when the commute. Can you imagine the traffic tomorrow morning/evening? Amazing.

I'll be walking as well, but what is amazing is the fact that over 3 million people use the subway and bus system to get into the city each day.

Can you imagine what would happen if the transit workers worked the morning shift and then told everyone to fuck off, thus stranding those 3 million people?

Amazing...
