Usually I wouldn't post a local showing of something on a non-local board, but since I've seen a number of people from this area and Versus has about eighty threads in the Creature Corner, I thought I'd throw this up.
Tuesday, Dec 17 the Psychotronic Film Society will be showing Versus on the (semi) big screen in Arlington, VA. I haven't been to their new venue, which is called Dr. Dremo's Taphouse, but I hear it's nice and they have a pretty large screen. I know the organizers are hoping to get an official studio copy, but if not I guess they'll show a DVD version...whether it's going to be the legit Japanese version or a crappy bootleg version I don't know.
And best of all, it's gloriously free! They ask for a two dollar donation, which entitles you to win some prizes, and sometimes they have some good junk. But if you just want to show up and watch the flick for free, it's all good.
