I am either a loser or a... loser, but I will head-up and organize a time and place for us Nor'easters to meet. If I am going to do this, it will probable have to be in New Hampshire unless someone can arrange another meeting place. What I need is list of people and the dates that this thing could possible happen for you. I cannot promise anything big. It may only turn out to be a meeting at the Curious George store in Harvard Square, but it could also turn out to be something pretty cool.

Just thought I'd mention it. And if I cannot do it, don't bother suing me I have nothing but a shitty Subaru and a couple of 16mm camera's.

As you can see, fellow Nor’easter’s I am at a loss. There are only 5, or maybe 6 if you count the person from Florida. I don't know what we would do if we did get together. We could make it like a coffee meeting, but why would somebody travel from NYC or even Philly to drink coffee in New Hampshire, although I have had some pretty good coffee here.

Whatever the event is, I will get video of it. It is up to you what you want the rating to be.

Please give me an idea to make this cooler than the deleted scene's from Ishtar.

So we could be talking a Private Cult Movie-Fest! I have not seen The Ring (or is it just "RING"). Maybe I could rent a Projection televison for a night.

I have also been thinking about food. I can deep-fry a turkey, don't worry it is no more fattening than a regular turkey if you peal the skin. Trust me on this; you will never ever have a better, juicier turkey than one that is deep-fried. It only takes about an hour, or hour and half to cook from beginning to end. If you're a vegetarian, bring some tofu and I'll deep-fry that too. I use peanut oil to deep fry.

I am glade that there is interest in this little thing we got going on, Hopefully, I'll be able to pull this off.

I have only had time to post in the "speak ONLY in movie quotes " thread. Time keeps on slipping away.
My father gave me an ultimatum, "Either restore that old German piece of shit, or get it the FUCK out of my yard." He was referring to my 1964 VW microbus. It is coming along nicely, but still kind of slow.

I will continue to work at this, but it may take a while.

I did get to meet some closer-to-Boston-than-me chewers:
Girlcreetcher and rogueboy. Posting is proof that I am alive so that in turn proves that they are not murderers (they could have tortured my password out of me though). Creetch was very nice and played hostess. I was not very in tune with my self that night. I had been up for 36 hours and I smelled like the motorcycle I had been riding around for the 30 hours before the meeting. I had to pay like ten bucks an hour for parking, because after an hour and a half of looking for a place to park in Harvard square I was burnt-out.

I promise that I will be more chipper at this get-together, whenever it may happen.

I am still open for suggestions as to what kind of activity/ies should take place during this monumental CHUD family summit.

Sex huh? Well I guess this place will have a restroom, you could have sex in there with your self while we watch some good movies, right? I don't mind, as long as you clean up after your self.

I am thinking that we could do this at an American Legion right by where I work. I have friends that can get the hall rental for me, or I could just join, I am prior military during a time of conflict. It is not too big, so bad mitten is out of the question, but it might suit our needs. It is aprox. one and a half hours north of Boston. Does that sound cool?

I also have a 16mm copy of one of my favorite childhood movies:
The 1942 live action version of Rudyard Kipling's "Jungle Book." I also have a projector. It is not a great copy, but it is still fun and one of my favorite classic movies - it is not a silent movie, the people actually talk. We don't have to watch it, but I am dieing to show it to someone else besides my girlfriend (who is not a film enthusiast).

I have neglected this thread, my apologies... I was unaware of the new-sprouting interest in this. It looked like it was going to be a bust.

The way it looks right now, I have Sept 13, 14, and 15 or 27,28, and 29. Both of those weekends are ideal for me. Right now I will plan for the 27, 28, or 29th the most likely day for me would be 28th it is a Saturday. please give me feed back on the weekend choice - it doesn't have to be that day. More details to follow...

P.S. 1 I was not born in New Hampshire so I have no affinity for inbreeding. I'll try and keep it to a minimum with in a 1/2 mile radius of where ever this happens.
