Okay shittys,
If Tony Ryan is in Atlanta on Valentine's weekend, I plan to make the trip up to Alphaville to meet and greet him. But, I have no idea if Nick has anything planned. More than likely, everyone will wing it. When Brian visited last fall and I met him, we all ended up going out to dinner at some pricey steak restaurant in Nick's area at 9 or 10 pm. The earlier parts of the day were spent at the coffee meeting, then HALO at Nick's for several hours and then drinks and chatting. The same happened on Friday night as well (minus the CM.)
Good theaters in Atlanta? Hollywood 24 is nice, Phipps is okay or we could go to the Backlot Cinema & Cafe, which I've only been to once and that was when it first opened about 7 years ago.
I don't know if DD will be there opening weekend or not, but if it is, that would a fun place, as it's a movie theater with a menu. You order dinner and watch the movie. Even if DD is not playing there, we could catch DD elsewhere earlier in the afternoon and then possibly catch a flick at the Backlot later in the evening, just for the experience. Or we could do it another time.
I highly suggest we go to Dad's Garage, an improv theater near my sister's house.
Here's the info on DG:

Click on IMPROV for more info also. Let me know if you guys are interested, cause I would more than likely have to make reservations. Also, unless their prices have gone up, the admission is between $10-$15 for a show or play, but totally worth it.
You guys are welcome to stay with me, but I still live at home and though we do have two beds in my sister's old room, I am thinking we could camp out downstairs in my den with sleeping bags and have a weekend slumber party if more than 2 of you come. I figured you guys wouldn't want to fork out cash for a hotel room for two nights. Plus, the TV, DVD, etc. is located there.
Also know that I live about an hour from Nick's (where the CHUD folk will be gathering), so we would have to commute in on Saturday for a coffee meeting.
Again, I have no idea if there are plans on Friday eve, but if there are, it would probably be easier to meet up in town at the event and then follow me back to Covington at the end of the night.
Right now, since nothing is set in stone, let's just plan on gathering and we can iron out the details closer to the impending date.
You can email me if you want to talk about it.
