The AMC theater at Disney's Pleasure Island is doing a Midnight Film Festival this fall, and looking at the lineup, I am all over it like slow-mo on a Michael Bay film. Most nights there are two films to choose from, but there are a couple of double feature nights that are to die for:
September 6 & 7: Alien & Aliens double feature
September 13 & 14: Ferris Bueller's Day Off
September 20 & 21: Beetlejuice & City Slickers
September 27 & 28: Raiders of the Lost Ark &
Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade Double Feature
October 4 & 5: Goonies & The Princess Bride
October 11 & 12: Big
October 18 & 19: Jurassic Park & Terminator 2
October 25 & 26: TBD
November 1 & 2: Grease & Little Shop of Horrors
November 8 & 9: Space Balls & Young Frankenstein
The best part is that the individual films are only $4.25 and the Double Features are $8.50 (those start at 10 instead of midnight).
So we seriously need to get the Central Florida Chewers together for this, especially the Aliens and Indy nights!
