CENTRAL FLORIDA CHEWERS -- Midnight Movie Festival is on!

Saturday night kicks off the Midnight Movie Festival at the AMC theater at Pleasure Island. This week, a lovely little double feature of Alien and Aliens. Show starts at midnight, tickets are $13.00. I'll be bringing a group of my non-Chewer friends as well, so it should be a good time. I'm planning on meeting in front of the Virgin Megastore around 10-ish, to allow time for meeting and buying tickets and general running amok should we have time.

Anyway, post here if you are in!

MAJOR CHANGE!

The first film starts at 10:00, not midnight!!! So make it 9-ish for the meeting time.

I'd haul my ass up from Palm Harbor, but I've got to travel to San Jose on business Sunday morning. Are you planning on catching any of the other shows?

well once again me and some freinds were just talking about going out there to see the double feature. i don't know if we will go see it or not, but we are going to be out there. ^_^

now next weekend i know is right out. we are going to Tampa next weekend. funfunfun...

Going to CHUD central, Poxy?

I want to bring my son to some of these screenings, I think he'd get a kick out of the Indy shows and the Goonies\Princess Bride, and my in-laws live there so we wouldn't have to drive all the way back to Tampa at 2 am.

Okay kids, this weekend is the big one -- Raiders of the Lost Ark and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. I'm planning on going Friday night -- Raiders starts at 9:45, so I'm thinking an 8-ish meeting time. Anyone?

The plan is to meet at 8 by the Virgin Megastore. That'll give us time to let the stragglers show up and get tickets ahead of time in case it's busy. I think tickets run about $13 for the double feature.

Anyone coming tonight for the Indy double feature, we're meeting in front of the Virgin Megastore at Pleasure Island at 8:00. I'll be wearing a white Tampa Bay Buccaneers hat for ease of identification.

I got there late, of course, thanks to the hellish parking at Pleasure Island (Disney, suck it up, admit Universal did you one better and BUILD A PARKING GARAGE!), so sorry if I missed anybody.
