Got a question for NYC chewers...

Im going to be in NY this weekend for a college basketball game (UGA vs. Texas at Madison Square Garden). I was wondering if you guys could recommend any good dvd/movie paraphenalia shops to check out? All I go to here is Best Buy, wondering if there is something more exciting there.

J&R's down near the Trade Center/City Hall is a DVD buyer's dream.

Kim's Video on St. Mark's is cool, even though sometimes a little pricey (it is NYC afterall), they still are consistant about putting dvd's out rather early. And it's Kim's, which means they have a lot of a selection for you.

I hear that Entertainment Outlet is good about dumping everything out before street date, it's over on 14th Street, but I've never been there.

Other than that you can't beat those shady guys selling dvd's on every street corner, especially where the tourists go (Canal Street/Houston/Little Italy/34th/etc...).

Anyways, enjoy the game.
