When is it going to happen!?! I'm tired of reading about all the fun people have at the Atlanta get togethers. We need to kick it NYC-style. Who's in?

it better be when i'm THERE....

Hey guys, I've pretty much given up hope on a NYC get together. That's the problem ... we're just too cool to make plans with semi strangers ...

Well lets start tossing around dates. I'm actually really swamped with work the entire month of April. But as soon as May hits, I'm all yours. It's actually good timing because my birthday's in May and I'm I'm all about having month long celebrations. Will anyone be available in May?

Alright, this is it.

Diva, I know you work downtown right near me.

Devilf, I believe you work at home from Brooklyn, perhaps only a few stops away.

Innocent Kirby, who knows where you work/live.

Let's have a drink sometime. I work downtown. My e-mail is dhunt@jamsadr.com

I say again, name the time and place and I'll show.

Diva, I think it will just be me and you judging from the response. Maybe we should quit while we're ahead, and preserve some integrity for this fair city of ours.

I'm throwing a party this Friday (May 3rd) at my house. Feel free to e-mail me at sabrica@yahoo.com if any of you want to come.

Damn, Diva, I already made plans to see Spidey tomorrow night. Damn. I really think some of the coolest posters (althought its rare for me lately) and contributors reside in NYC.

We must get together. I am to lazy to change my profile, but the best e-mail to reach me at is dhunt@jamsadr.com

what?

I'm at 45 Broadway every week day.

I'm going to a 7:00 p.m. Spidey. My party starts at 10 p.m. and goes to whenever.

I work on Murray Street (on the corner of Broadway). You are not too far away. We must do lunch one day.

The New Yorkers are trying to be social. How quaint.

wow are these really the only new yorkers in this place? thought there'd be more of us for some reason.....

I loved that Spidey was New York centric, however I thought the bridge scene was hokey (where all the NYers started throwing stuff at the GG).

I loved the homage paid to the Twin Towers though. In the scene where Spidey is on top of the Chrysler Building, you can see the Towers' reflection on his mask.

yeah, the bridge scene was a little much, but I laughed. "you mess with one of us, you mess with all of us!" A couple of my friends were convinced it was added in (along with the final shot of the american flag) post 9/11....but i'm skeptical...

diva, i agree with you about the homage....i really hate that everyone seems determined to deny the WTC ever existed...at least they kept something of them in. all in all i think raimi did a great job of capturing our city.
