Hey UK

Who else is bored and lonely? And who else is a little sick of being hit on by strange men every time you step outdoors in a skirt? Don't even say you are, fett. You know you love it. ;p
post #2 of 67
Yeah, but my legs get cold, especially with the one I'm wearing now, with the dead short hemline.

Ahem.

I'm bored and lonely. And tired. Macclesfield is full of weird people and Slovakian film snobs.
Not lonely, but a bit bored (especially at the thought of the most likely to be very dull train trip tomorrow).

Oh, and of course I get hit on by strange men all the time. Must be that after shave I wear...
That foolish Whitehead and his Slovakian-leaning elitism, when will he learn...
The Slovakian comment comes from the best moral lesson since the end of Masters of the Universe.

I meet a hot chick in a bar, she tells me she's Slovakian, she's a little drunk, but we're going well, I tell her about my job, I say I write film reviews, and she starts talking about films she likes.

So she says to me, 'Do you like Armageddon?'

Me? I HATE the film. But I know a lot of people like it, and while I didn't mean to lie, I strangely say 'yes', she says 'Oh, sorry' and turns away, and I'm back on my own.

He-Man and Skeletor both say, kids shouldn't lie.
That really happened to you? Bwuahahahahahahahahaha! Oh man, that is so coming back to haunt you when I'm here.
So going to enjoy hitting northern bars with the illustrious Fett-meister. Highly-larious.

Still, you have to be in awe of her tricksy wiles.

But hey, you know, maybe she just has a hankering for the less flashy, more gung-ho The Rock-Michael Bay. Bet you'll see her front and centre when Bad Boys II opens...

Mate, thats so bad, still on Hulk night i'm sure you'll be surrounded by hot CHUDettes and wont have to worry about it.
I mean Strax is going for one.
I am a hot CHUDette. Jen and Alice are gonna have to dress mighty pretty to upstage me on this parade.

Mmmm, that sounded better in my head.
Camera....check.
You'll be able to recognize all UK Chewers that day from the camera around their neck.
And the pint in each hand, John Woo style.
Tequila, surely ?
Sure, if you have a Desperado.
What can I say, I'm a Hard Boiled fan. Can lose that clarinet, though.
Just make sure at least one of you wears the white and grey pinstrip suit, and I'll take care of the trench.
That was the sound of 4 other chewers running away really fast.
Not as fast as they'll run on Friday when, pissed as a mule, he breaks out "The Elephant".

It's quite something.
Including one frantically tearing away his plane ticket.

You do know it's on Saturday, right?
I was assuming said "Elephant" is booked in on a weekly basis...
Just testing my posts
Hey Mc, good to see another Brit around here.
"We're colonized by wankers."
Only on tuesdays.
I cannot argue against being called a wanker, just don't use the foreword prolific thanks.
Charlie,

"Chi Chi, Cha Cha"

Onomatopoeic "Friday 13th" reference, or have you been subsumed by the world of the [I]"Ladyboy Musical Revue"[I] ?
Judging from the sig that goes with the it, I'd say our Chuck is cleverly referencing the wonderful two notes work of Harry Manfredini.

Both of you are correct, it is indeed the theme of our favourite hockey mask-wearing killer (his late mother too).

Hi im a Brit to and i just thought i would drop in and say hello.

So how many of us are there?
Well we're growing in number plus we have Blunt our token top French bloke (you wont believe how it pained me to say that;-)) and, well you.
So not enough to take over the US yet but enough to start a riot at Chucky Cheese.
I alone am enough to start a riot at Chucky Cheese.

Especially when I bring the AK-47.

...Or the Ferrari.

But mostly, I just kind of enjoy rioting. It keeps me active, gets me out in the fresh air, I meet new people - and throw stones and Molotov cocktails at them until they truncheon me into unconsciousness and throw me into the back of a Black Maria...

Alice, I never took you as a closet anarchist.

I have no idea
There was a gathering ooop north a few months back but io think everyone has been a tad busy to organise a nother event.
Althought Strax, Alice and Jen have met up since, according to the gossip page in The Sun.
Met up twice, actually.

Last time we went to a steak house that was so good that the meat on the menu could only have come from high school students butchered in a sinister teacherly conspriracy. Dan Whitehead came that time, and his mate.

We should do that meeting up again thingy soon. It's fun. And seasonally festive.
Yeah, I'd like to get together again sometime, but it looks like it's going to have to be sometime after new year. Maybe Spider-Man 2?
When is Spider-Man 2?

Notice I hyphenated it correctly, because I am a geek.
May. I'd be up for doing something before, possibly (shock, horror) on a non-movie basis?

A NON-MOVIE basis? Perv! Whatever next - before long you'll be asking the girls to show you their ankles!

Let me find a policeman on a penny-farthing and set him about arresting you and taking to Bow Street, you anarchist ruffian!
Don't corner me, I might become a Scallywag...
'become' a scallywag? Your time is now my friend.
You'll be assulting people with soccerballs next, Charlie...

"No one knooows what it's liiiike to be a dustbiiiiin, in Shaaaaaaaafstburyyyyyyyyy....."

Ah yes, Dan's mate. What an impression he made on our lovely Jen. Drove her to tonsorial abuse that did.

Charlie you great lummox, after you've righted the great Texas-Bank Balance crisis of 2003, get yer ass down south for falling over juice.
Bill Hicks references, how I love thee. I hope I'll get to bring my ass to England again in the near future and be the Bloods to your Hooligans.
You damn skippy Johnny Foreign Trousers. Bring your mad Kill Bill love with you...(maybe for part deux ?)
Spidey 2 is actually July 16th, fact fans. And note how I use the informal abbreviation, cos I'm a geek too.

Speaking of policemen, I just caught a cute one checking me out on Edgware Road. Where I don't live anymore. Dammit.

Anybody up for doing something (movie related or not) before I leave? That would be sometime SOON.
You're leaving?

What, leaving London, the UK, Earth?

And how soon is SOON?
