CHUD London - Page 2

March would be handy for me, since I'd probably have money and time then...
March is also good. The hamster will be legal by then.

I'm about to text Jen with possibilities - lads, do you want to do a movie or just drink and talk about movies? Like I say, I'm good for Sunday and Saturday daytime only.

Sunday lunch sounds optimal to me, don't know what you guys think.

You girls sort it - and then, like all good boys are, I shall be at the ladies' whim...

I'm also Saturday Evening-booked so that works out well.

Fuck it: 07989 554 606 - there's only so much you can do with that number. Isn't there

That phone number's been seen in more telephone boxes than Dr Who...

I've said too much.

I'd love to get together in March.

I suggest meeting at Queen Mary's Garden or the Marble Arch Odeon. Unless one of you has an even more brilliant idea.
Hokay! Anyone who fancies it, the final meetplace is the British Museum in London, today at 12:30.

You know you want to...

Strax, I'll ring you if Jennifer hasn't already.
So how did it go, did you guys manage to meet up?
Beautiful beer.

Beautiful company.

Felt like a pretty lucky fella yesterday to be honest.

And apart from her unnatural love of Brimingham, Jen is hereby allowed, by law, to stay in the UK because she is officially "wicked cool".
Though I didn't get to drink cos I was driving! Boo!
OK well colour me jealous.
Glad you all had a giggle though.
There was giggling. But mine wasn't high pitched or girly in any way. At all.

Brum's changing- unless you've been there in the past 6 months or so, don't knock it. Unfortunately I can't say the same for the people there- pretty much the same as ever. And if getting completely pissed before 4 pm makes one "wicked cool" then yea, I guess I am. ;p

That thing I did that freaked you guys out... I have to say it was the most amazing, better-than-sex feeling. Didn't care too much for the aftermath, though. hehehehe

Overall it was a good day, but next time let's delay going to the pub until a bit later in the day, okay?
I was there, obviously but of course if I hadn't been I'd have to say I'd probably be totally fucking intrigued by that post Jen.

"Wicked cool", yeah, I'll stand by that...I have non-drinking wing-lady to back me up.

We can do a "not before 6pm" drinking binge next time, promise.

Someday, one of us will explain it. Until then, they can all just wonder. ;p

And the veil of mystery falls gently over proceedings, as Chewers scratch their heads and look, wonderingly, up at this thread...

CHUD meeting in London? Anytime!
Should we all wear name tags?
I wear a name tag all the time anyway. If I don't I forget who I am.

It makes getting back to the Home all that more difficult...
I'll be about in Olde London Town on Oct 28th and 29th, should anybody be interested in having a right proper boozy do.
Can I hide in your suitcase?
Only if you drop that ridiculous northern twang for the duration of your trip. It won't do for me to be seen like that. I have a reputation in media whore circles you know.

Will you be blagging into hopelessly cool media related shindigs ?
I'm going to a presentation on The Magic Roundabout movie, if that counts. And also attending the Brand Licensing show, where I hope to snaffle some LOTR and/or Hellboy goodness.
I *think* I'm around. Pencil me in, in a tentative kind of a way.
Magic Roundabout picture. You get given all the good jobs. Hang on, you hand out all the jobs. Oh my.

Beer = a given.
I love the lingo in this thread.

Geezer.
