Greetings from lovely Southern California, as well. I myself have never ventured further from the U.S. than the beaches of Mexico, but would like to one day.

It is as symmetrical as Norfolk? Not that I'm from Norfolk nor indeed have I ever set foot in its Partridge-spawning climate, I just have visions of it being round. And a bit dull.

My interesting addition to this lively thread: My ma lives in Terry & June's hometown of Purley.
