Jesse Ventura to the rescue!

Finally, someone to come in and break up the massive monopoly on the media conservatives have with Bill O'Reilly and Sean Hannity, cunningly keeping the entire message of Tom Dashcle away from the public.

As some of you may have seen, Jesse Ventura will be hosting a talk show on crappy MSNBC to help with their ratings. He naturally promises to "tell the truth" and all that jazz.

I like Jesse Ventura. Not being from Minnesota (I know Tony hates him) I don't know all his little policies, but he's fun and a good guy I think. I was also impressed with his response to the Wellstone rally.

I guess I'm wondering if this is the guy the DNC was picturing when they started putting money into finding the liberal Sean Hannity? Ventura's an independent and IMO a pretty true definition of one. Well, should be interesting, I'll give him a shot. What do you guys think?

If he's allowed to let Ol' Painless out of the bag, it should be the most entertaining show ever.

I'd check it out if I had MSNBC. I was also impressed with how Jesse dealt with the Wellstone rally. I think he's a more reliable political voice than Phil Donahue (Its still amusing when I think of Phil yelling " Go Nadar! " on Larry King before the presidential election.) what that guy is still doing on the air is beyond me. MSNBC is losing badly to Fox News and CNN and its about to fold up entirely.
