This reminded me of the Mr. Plow Simpson's episode...

"Homer, I've got to sneak these valuable artworks out of the White House, but those darn protesters are in the way..."

(look at the protester's sign near the middle)

The reason this reminds me of that Simpson's episode is that the protesters all had different slogans for different causes on their signs. So I guess the U.S. wants war with Iraq not because of oil, but because all Iraqi's are gay...

"Mr. President, those young people are about to get a dose of reality!"

And look at the bottom left...now Iraq is being invaded because the U.S. wants to kill Palestinians too...

One of the big problems with any of these big protests is that every group on Earth shows up to hog a little of the spotlight.

"No war for oil"

Hehe. I was wrong about the war not being about oil.

It seems it is.

Apparently, (according to CNN), France very very recently made a deal with Iraq to purchase a shitload of oil from them. My cynical nature is once again supported by reality.

Also "Without homophobia, another world is possible".

That is just about the dumbest slogan I have ever heard. What world would that be?

Are you sure that the picture hasn't been edited with photoshop?

Honestly I don't know 100%. I got it from MSNBC's Week in Pictures, and they were showing pics from all of the protests that were going on worldwide. My favourite? The 700 nude women in Austrailia who formed the heart with the words No War in the middle. Naked women should form the heart of any decent protest.

You don't know very many gay people, do you?

I know many gay people. I have 3 close friends who are openly gay and get this-- have marched in gay rights protests with them.

So get off your high horses motherfuckers, and try not to twist everything people say to your benefit.

All I said was, its the stupidest slogan I have ever heard. And it is, esp in the context. Perhaps I should have added that second part.

Perhaps. Clarity is everything.

And in the case of the above...a very attractive group at that.

Well they are!

If you think you're making a point here, think again.
