Bush-Rice 2004?

I've been hearing rumblings that Dick may bow out after ther first four years, and that Condie Rice is looking like a very attractive VP candidate. Although she is pro abortion and slightly pro affirmative action, I think she would make a pretty damn good choice for veep, and she's qualified enough to squelch any desperate cries of tokenism. Exciting concept, eh?

Cheney will be DEAD by 2004.

another good reason to be thinking ahead.....

I think Cheney is going to be hard-pressed to stay in fighting form for 2004. Rice is fine, and it would be a nice legacy. But I'd be more excited about Vice President Rudy Giuliani. He's got the golden political touch these days.

Oh, hell no. after him shooting his mouth off a few too many times about things he knows nothing about, I will definately vote for the other guy.

But, that is my own opinion.

Rudy is a cool guy. I like him, and so do a lot of people. He's a unique kind of Republican who could really invigorate the party. And frankly, he could be a big vote getter. His endorsement for Bill Simon Jr. in California helped get him the upset nomination. It's be a very cool ticket in 2004 IMO.

Rice would be a good choice but I still want Powell to take a further step to becoming President. I really believe this is a man who can do the job and do it exceedingly well. And in this age where our Presidents have slowly become less the leadership figures of the past and more like managers of countries he would bring a breath of fresh air. A man of ideals and integerity and the right amount of grit to deal with foreign policy as it should be taken care of. As much as it would be nice to see a women VP i do not think we should have one for the sake of having one. Of course same could be said of the first black president but hey what do I know.

Yeah, Colin Powell has been my pick since 1996, but unfortunately he seems very uninterested in becoming President. But then again, most of those statements were made during his retired time when he wasn't doing much, so now that he's back in the saddle so to speak his mind could change.

Powell will run in 2008. I think he'll give Bush 43 his 8 years unopposed, and after that....

...Let a new error begin...

and yes I know he isn't the second coming and we will see what he is capable of when that time arises.
