Although I'm an Arkansan I hope and pray that Simon runs Davis out of office. Maybe he'll set a template for conservative candidates everywhere.
Maybe he'll even follow in the footsteps of the best politician to come form the left coast in history: Ronald W. Reagan.

The idea I always got from the media was that there were no Republicans in California.

At least we have Mike Huckabee here in AR. He's a very staunch conservative Republican in a state that has been Democrat almost straight down the line. He's a hell of a nice guy to boot. He's up for reelection in Nov. and is expected to win in a landslide.
