Sure to be dismissed by some, but the Sunday Edition of the Telegraph claims to ave found evidence of a link betweer Iraq and Al-Qaidi based on the countries hatred for the USA and Saudia Arabia. This went back to 1998 after Al-Qaidi successfully bombed an American Embassy.

Could it be that maybe just maybe Bush was right?

I don't see what meaning this has, frankly.

I'm sure a lot of people - SAUDI ARABIAN AL-QUEDA BACKERS STILL AT LARGE OPENLY IN SAUDI ARABIA INCLUDED - have "met" with Al-Queda or their envoys in the past couple of years.

But what does that mean now? Did Iraq/Saddam help sponsor 9/11 or have anything to do with AL-Queda during or after that event? If not, then I don't see what difference it makes. If we're prosecuting countries who supported terrorism retroactively, we should also be on that list.

I think in any future conflicts, we should send in The Daily Telegraph instead of spies - their reporters seem spookily good at discovering secret documents, documents apparently missed by everyone from the UN to allied forces to Colin Powell, that support the newspapers views.
