Here's the latest tune from my upcoming record, The Demon-Haunted World.

Yet again, here's something different than anything I've done before.

I'll leave it up to the 2-4 people who ever care about my music to describe it.

Micah, man - just listened to it twice. Very good, moody stuff. And you really tear it up at the end. Catchy, quite soulful, and borderline creepy. Really worth the download, folks.

Touch you
I wouldn't dare
Lest I know what I've done
And what I have become

Very cool. You continue to impress me.

Nice track, very sinister and menacing. Sounds a bit like Ennio Morricone meets Nick Cave. This ones well worth the download, folks, Mikah's tracks are always top notch and you owe it to yourselves to check it out.

With the way I listen to Package, you would have thought I'd check this out sooner. Very cool; has a great blues feel to it. It brought some of Albert King's songs to mind while I was listening - although this has a more darker, moodier edge. Geez, more CD's to order.

Thanks, JW.

This isn't on the first Darker album, but plenty of other swell stuff is. Feel free to get a copy.

The next Darker record isn't too far away.

Thanks, UGB.

I'm listening to your stuff now. I like it. it reminds me of a cross between Scorn (Mick Harris of Napalm Death's ambient project), Tricky, and Underworld.

Very nice.

On a side note, I'm doing an electronic side project myself under my name here at CHUD, Mikah912, and I have a few songs done already that may or may not be on the record. You can listen to them here.

Sorry about the delay in this. Real-life has been a pain in the scrotum lately.

To start - overall this is a really excellent disc. Some of my criteria for CD selection these days is something I can listen to in the car without having to jump around for songs I like. The place I work for has seven locations around the state so occasionally my job keeps me in the car for a long stretch. CD's that I can just let play through tend to get the most listening.

Although there were MP3's available I did order this blind; mostly on faith from Package. It's nothing like a Package CD. Some rockers, some nice mellow tunes, and some moody atmospheric pieces. By the numbers -

Overture - Sets the tone for the rest of the disc quite nicely

Color Information - One of my two favorite songs on the disc. I like the harmony in the chorus and the song has a great beat to it.

Your Deliverance Will Come - A little more mellow than my tastes have been running lately. Not one of my favorites but not one I would skip over.

Circus of Light - Second of my favorite two songs on the disc. Nice moody start - and I love it when the guitars kick in. And the solo - as someone with no musical talent it makes me sick with envy. Excellent.

Dreamstations - Another on the mellow side, but the nice guitar work puts this above Your Deliverance Will Come for me.

Finale - Sort of in the wrong place on the disc, considering the title. Very cool musically.

Egyptian Tapestry - Funky vocals on this one, but I like. Right up there as one of my favorites

Apples, Kisses, and other Blessings - Real sweet. Gives me sort of a drifting feeling.

Nazarene - Another great tune to sort of space out to, but darker than Apples, Kisses, and other Blessings.

Killers - Nice funky, jazz feel. Love it

Glory and Skin Evolution - Really like the lyrics on this one. And extremely solid muscially. Wish they'd play more like this (and Color Information) on the radio.

And the hidden track - very cool.

All in all, very immpressive. I await the next disc eagerly.

Thanks, JW. I'm glad you liked it so.

The new disc is shaping up nicely, and I don't think it's quite as atmospheric or dreamy as the first one, although there is still some of that on there (Beautiful Pictures, 11:11). But a lot of the songs you haven't heard are a wee bit...peppier, I guess.

I'm working on a lot of different things now, including an instrumental side project EP under the name THE M912 ORCHESTRA. But I'm going to finish the next Darker record first. I'm trying to get that done by the end of June, so expect me to just start posting songs in groups in the next 2-4 weeks.

Thanks, UGB.

I'll be posting a new song on Sunday - DRIFT OF PIGS, SOUNDER OF SWINE - and hopefully you'll dig it too.
