Question: Mark of the Beast - Page 2

I would ask the philistines if God is biased. If he is not biased why does he favor the Jews in the O.T.

And how can the greatest judge not be judgmental?

To CTD
I realize that God can and does have powers over all creation and he can do what he wants. I was just clearing up someone’s point - another Hole that I can fill in so-to-speak. I don't fault the almighty for being Judgmental, how can I?

I gotcha.

Also let me repharse that God is indeed judgemental...its just that He can be because He has too. I mean thee has to be someone that judges people and the actions we take because then there would be no reason to responsible to any actions we commit.

The reason God chose the Israelies is because their lineage is the people who stuck closest to God thorughout that time. While Ishmael (son of Abaham) went out from God's grace, Issac (son of Abraham) did not. Goes back to why are we born into sin because of something Adam did? Because he was the first his responsibilty was greater then any man (cept Jesus) for mankind though at the time he was it. Because of his screw up all get screwed. May not be fair but just the same why did people die for the choices of Hitler who had incredible influence and power we are subject to the choices of the man who had the future of mankind in his hand. What if he deicded to jump off a high rock? Would we be here? Thank goodness he didn't.

Kinda of incomplete post I know but I have been neglecting work to much.

Jesus took the whole "I'm really skinny and stuck on a cross thing" and bounced right back after he died. Why no second chance after jumping off a big rock? Seems to me it would be quite a bit more fun than the rather painful looking cross thing. Jesus would kick ass at X-treme sports. "Mathew, Mark, check this shit out, I'm jumping, fuck the bungee cord!"

carwindowbreakerouters: How many points can I score with that word in scrabble?

If any one person could bungee jump without the bungee, it is Jesus.

Revelations 7, verses 1-3:
After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds of the earth, that no wind might blow on earth or sea or against any tree.
2: Then I saw another angel ascend from the rising of the sun, with the seal of the living God, and he called with a loud voice to the four angels who had been given power to harm earth and sea,
3: saying, "Do not harm the earth or the sea or the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God upon their foreheads."

Please allow me to point out the interesting parallels of bashing other religious that are in the bible and of most diffidently in Revelations:

• tattooing sacred symbols upon ones' brow (druids, wiccans, pagens, hindu's, egyptians) is NOT a mark of the "beast" of "devil" as the Bible wants to pound into readers heads that people with these marks are evil. NOT.

• Isn't it interesting that the mark of the Beast is the astrological symbol for the Zodiac sign Cancer, which is actaully three, 9's, nine being a powerful number. If you go down the mutiplication table using the number nine you will see in interesting thing occur:

1 x 9 = 9 (9 + 0=9)
2 x 9= 18 (1 + 8 = 9)
3 x 9= 27 (2 + 7 = 9)
4 x 9 = 36 (3 + 6 =9) and so on . . .

• four archangels at the four corners holding back the wind, etc. . . once again a reference to Earth worshippers (the calling of corners) the Bible portrays the power of Earth forces in a negative way . . . then God says don't hurt the Earth until we've branded them evil do'ers?!

Yup.

Bible never states it accepts every religion, though process, or mindset.

I can't make any excuses for that.
