| Thief III: See the first ever screenshots now [25/04/2003: 10:55] Eidos release the first pair of images from Warren Spector's sneaky sequel Eidos have released the first pair of shots of the highly-anticipated sequel to their hit first-person RPG, Thief II: The Metal Age. Although the third in the series has been the subject of behind-closed-doors E3 showings in the past, as well as the source of much concept art, these are the first time true in-game images that have been released. Under the direction of Deus Ex-creator Warren Spector from the Texas offices of Ion Storm, Thief III has been confirmed for the game's original platform, PC. There are also strong rumours at present regarding a console version of the game although Eidos have yet to officially confirm which other platform the game will be released on. We reckon the slower, more strategic pace of the game, which sees you sneaking from shadow to shadow in an effort to evade detection, could work better on a console than many faster-paced first-person games. Expect more on this exciting title to be revealed on gamesradar.com during the E3 trade show, which takes place on 14-16 May. |

Fond memories of playing the first two, with the fantastic stealth elements integrated into them.
