Our HALO names... - Page 2

Bite your tongue, Murphy- before Active Mike shoots it off and Pete Zha picks it up and eats it.

Bby the way, how are Organism 47 and Skeleton IV getting along? Famously or not so?
They have yet to meet on the field of battle. Clive Maker sent Organism 47 away last night, though.

Don't feel bad, fellas. If you had been there I'd have killed you as well.
The same you that lost a decisive lead in "Blood Gulch" last week when you had control of both tanks, a Ghost expert on your team, and a sniping position?

Don't get fictional, Murphy. Whether it be Kilpatrick, Wall Street, or Hans Titze, you'd have fallen to at least ONE of my shadow cabal of murdering geniuses.
Well the Chinly boys are rather pissed about not having been mentioned. And once they get through having sex with their sisters will commence with the killin.

You mean the Chinly/Chinley boys, don't you. Those two are really good at getting shot alot.

Also, Micah has three original names now? how come no one told me?

Also, like the 'Super Troopers' ref, graved.
All hail the arrival of some new names among the Elite/truly skilled murderers:

First up, we have Nick's new "capo," the inimitable Don Embryo, who made quite a debut. He's a laidback don, yet incredibly loyal and deadly. Plus, he has a rich history so intricate, only Nick knows all the details.

Second, I've retained the services of a new socialite to the damned, the ever posh Babs O'keefe. Babs enjoys living the lazy lifestylle of the rich and performs accordingly until someone starts talking shit about or suggests she shops at The Gap. Then, she begins emptying bodies in great quantities.

Finally, Steve's new "life partner" is the flamboyant, yet closeted Fred Abstruct. Sexual confusion aside, the guy can KILL.

All in all...it was a pretty good day. ALmost everybody had at least one game where they went buckwild, and no one team dominated. Good show, gents.
My newbies:

Bo Backhair - Angry for a reaon.

Eye Haychoo - This boy sucks, they may never find his body.

Sam Spleens - A true stealth warrior, he will only appear in times of great distress.

Micah, I think it's Fred ABDUCT.

Indeed. Wall Street should've known that being that the two of them make such a "good team."
It's true that Fred Abduct is a raging flamer, but he can harvest souls with the best of them.
Hank Ankles and Jose Uribe were my two new add-ons. And since I'm the one mentioning them, it's safe to say they didn't make much of a impression on the HALO battlefields. Babs, by the way, had a nice late-in-the-game turnaround. However, she was devastated time and time again on Blood Gulch. Don Embryo (pronounced Em-BRAY-oh), on the other hand, tore through torsos all night long. Sam Spleens? Let's just say we call him Sam Spleens Chinly from here on out.

Except for the final Blood Gulch game, where she was tired of listening to smack talk, and helped lead her team to victory with an inspired performance (along with one of Steve's characters...can't remember which one).

Babs is more than a one game gal...she did pretty good throughout the night, tho the shining jewel in my stable is obviously Wall Street.
Yeah, smack-talk does tend to help one through performance anxiety. And Babs did shine on the other levels, for sure. Wasn't trying to imply anything else. Except, of course, that you suck and I'm awesome.
Make like a plasma grenade and stick to Active Mike, ok?

Oh, so I suppose that last game was a two on three battle. Babs and the Grave Tycoon dominating with Mr Mastodon just watching from the sidelines.

Sometimes you can say hurtful things.

Now I have to strap on my candy bar feed bag & eat my way through the depression.
Doug...don't be hurt (except when bullets are penetrating your characters). You're a good third man to have when it's a 3-on-3 situation.
We were playing three on three? Damn, I coulda swore it was two on three.

Notice how you're the God of Thunder & not the god of lightning? Sure you make a lot of noise, but when it comes down to it, you're just a warning for something actually dangerous.

And yes, I did notice GOT filling my skull with bullets. Next time though.......
You are all a bunch of jerks.

Both Clive Maker and GraveTycoon had some great games, but the one man who failed to make a decent impression was the poorly named Frank Death. Any team that had him as a teammate didn't win the first game.

He is crap, and ranks right up there with the likes of Bo Backhair, Sam Spleens and Pete Zah as being the shittiest characters ever.
Pete Zha.

Remember it.
I'd like to know what your problem with Mr. Spleens is, Steve. All the man does is produce corpses.
Math Whiz was also created. And he did do some damage.

Dennis, regarding Spleens, let me answer for Murphy:

That character is good for shooting purposes and to make fun of. In short, he stinks. Thank you.
Can I also add that Bo Backhair is the worst character ever created?

Not just for Halo...I mean no carbon-based lifeform has envisioned a dumber character in the history of time itself.
How long until you steal it?
It's not stealing if the characters I use WANT to be rescued from crap creators like Steve Murphy, who couldn't use them properly if they had an instruction manual.

Not that you're one of the crap creators, Steve...just using you as an example.

Classic.

And give 'Bo Backhair' a break. That's a great name. Made me laugh, anyway.
The score that game made me laugh too. But that's because my squad obliterated you and "Bo."

Of course, I had my crap game on Blood Gulch a little bit later, so turnabout....
You had more than ONE crap game in Blood Gultch, my friend. That board hated you all night long, until the last game.

Not at all.

I won the first game of the day on Blood Gulch free-for-all, triumphing over some great players and Steve, too.

And even when that one doomed team I was on kept losing on Blood Gulch, my performance was fine except for that one game.

Actually...didn't my team WIN the game where I only got 9?

Anyway...it was all a rouse anyway. We lost just to make you overconfident enough to pick it as the last map of the night so we could go out with a resounding victory.

Bo Backhair is WAY beneath you Dennis. Deleting the character would be the first step towards healing.
You got the Christ kicked out of you on Blood Gulch. Maybe your team won at points, but you were suffering, Babs. Active Mike made sure of that. You turned Mr. Mastadon into a lowly beast of burden, cuz he sure was carrying your arse across that board. We'll settle this little dispute on Sat., looks like. And I'm bringing Bo Backhair with me...and hopefully placing him on the opposite team.

When one gets ventilated as much as you did on Saturday, it's natural to try and cling onto any tiny scrap of comfort that can sustain you. And it's really beneath you...it's more like something Steve would do.

Remember, Blood Gulch is just ONE map that I usually do pretty well at because I have a pretty decent range of the skills that are needed to excel (sniping, Ghost driving, tank driving, defeating tanks with bullets and grenades) on it, as do you. But you know as well as anyone else that when you're on a team that isn't controlling the vehicles, deaths pile up, and my team was unable to do that consistently.

Part of that's my fault...I'm on the team, after all. But when it clicks, great things happen.

Anyway...we played on plenty of other maps and I sent plenty of other souls to the beyond.

But this sounds like a challenge...so make sure you're on the opposing team, and we'll see what happens.

The sound you hear is race relations reverting back to 1963 levels. Next thing you know, Dennis is going to make Micah ride in the back of the warthog.

I'd be happy to do so if you could turn the turret on the driver.

But he's just piping up because he's pussing out to go to some wedding and he won't be available for the beating he's just signed a contract for.

Sounds like we're going to have some interesting battles this week for those that do show up to Blofeld day.

I hope we all get together and at least eat on Friday. Plus, Cesar (and Dennis, too, I'm pretty sure) wants to play Halo Friday night since Saturday will be limited and/or non-existent for them.

HALO isn't everything. Friday's for being with friends and getting aquainted and re-aquainted. Fuck HALO on Friday.

So much for that. But I'd still love to meet Matt/Blo, eat, and just enjoy each other's company for a wee bit.

I can't be the only one who's curious about what new names graced the screens in the basement of Casa Nunziata during this weekend's Blofeld Invasion/CHUDEast.

I'm also curious to know how the veterans fared. I'm just following the HALO chronicles from afar...
All I can say is that it "appears" some people are scared of GOT, Tab and Jeb Chinl(e)y, and Sam Spleens.

You know who you are.
It was a great time. I think the "veterans" (Nick, myself, Steve, Dennis, Justin) performed pretty consistently and well throughout the day, and typically whichever team had the most "veterans" on it won.

No significant new names that I can remember, tho.

Maybe Hank Ankles (Justin/Kevin Matchstick) and Hate Wave (Alain)...that's about it.
'Hank Ankles' is mine from two weekends back, but he was made famous by Billylove this weekend. I created 'Paul Indent' this weekend and was proud of his performance. Steve created the dumped-after-one-game 'K.A.R.L.' and 'Tumor Chris' - who put on his blood feedbag. I can't remember any others.

I played very little, more concerned with keeping things moving than playing. Steve also sat out a good deal.

Steve and I are a bit HALO'd out, though I do look forward to a day we can play without any other agenda.
