Gamespy has an awesome article up over <a href="http://www.gamespy.com/top10/december02/grails/index.shtml" target="_blank">here</a> about the "Top Ten Gaming Grails"

I've been fiending for that copy of Dracula X.

Anyone got any of these?

I've got 2 from that list- Radiant Silvergun (Saturn) and Dracula X (PC Engine). They're both very collectible obviously, but their true "rarity" is a bit of a myth; there are eBay merchants out there with literally 100s of copies of each. If you look at Castlevania for example, a *genuinely* rare find would be the MSX game, or the "Haunted Castle" arcade PCB.

There's other interesting rare stuff which the list doesn't seem to mention, e.g. The Halloween/Texas Chainsaw Massacre licensed games for the Atari 2600, or some of those "trial edition" versions of PC Engine hucard shooters.

I have the Pioneer edition of Animal Crossing, and a US set of Samba de Amigo maracas. Do those count?

most definitely when it comes to the maracas...

One of the rarest NES games was Tengen Tetris. The game was recalled due to a lawsuit because the big N had the license for Tetris locked down for the consoles. Last time I checked, this cartridge still sells for $100.

I actually had Bounty Bob Strikes Back for the Commodore 64.

course my 64 and all my games are collecting dust in someone else's garage.

If it doesn't have the A music, it sucks.

Ha! Yes, my only complaint about the Tetris DX cart for GBC is that the A tune is not the one I want!
