Unexpected X-mas gift. Besides Timesplitters 2, what should I buy?

Vice City of course.

If you're into the skateboarding thing, be sure to pick up Tony Hawk:4.

The new Mortal Kombat is supposed to be very cool, but for fighting games I prefer Virtua Fighter:4 - either will probably go along with alcohol just fine.

Not too sure about sports titles, as my luck has been more miss than hit. Any good PS2 sports titles out there fellas?

GTA Vice City of course
Metal Gear Solid 2, MGS2 Substance is coming out on PS2 soon though so maybe you should wait for that
Devil May Cry, Devil May Cry 2 comes out soon also
If you like racing games there is Gran Turismo 3 and it's only $20 on the greatest hits list
Red Faction is a fun game where you can blow everything up, so is Red Faction 2
Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance is fun, it can get very hard and frustrating at times though
Tekken 4 is another fun fighting game that I prefer over Virtua Fighter 4
The Two Towers is also a fun game but gets hard

Get ICO and Rez if you're into the artsy games, like me!

Final Fantasy X is also quite good, if it's your bag.

Tekken Tag Tournament, Metal Gear Solid 2 and Gran Turismo 3 A-Spec are must-haves. Had the same problem as you, a sony christmas wink

Ha i had a sony birthday and if i get a belated check from my father as always i should expect a Game Cube too. I got some crap games from my mom so im glad i picked up Devil May Cry on my own.
